Easy Sugar Cookies

Good recipe for a quick sugar cookie. I rolled in coloured sugar before baking. You need to add about a 1/2 teaspoon salt, other wise it is too bland.

Banana Oatmeal Cookie

Used applesauce instead of shortening and halved the amount of sugar(used 1/4 white and 1/4 brown) added choc chips, walnuts and dried cranberries. Cooked for 10 minutes. Kids loved them.

Home Made Farmer's Cheese

Made 1 batch using lemon juice and it didn't work, tried again using vinegar and it worked great. Used as filling for pieogies. Cost much less than store bought and I can use organic milk.

Tasty Lentil Tacos

I used puy lentils (french green),they were not fully cooked after 30 minutes of simmering, had to add more broth. Just add a little at a time until the were soft. Really good tasting and budget wise recipe. Will use from now for our weekly taco night.

Great recipe. I dipped frozen bananas into it and rolled them in coconut, nuts and/or sprinkles then put them back in the freezer to set. The Kids loved them.

Awesome recipe, just like our favorite Middle Eastern restaurant. Don't change a thing and make sure you use sumac powder, it isn't fatoosh without it!

Awesome recipe don't change a thing. You MUST use an immersion blender otherwise it will separate. Food processors and blenders don't work. I purchased a bamix just for this recipe. Thank you!

Egg Salad I

Nice change from regular egg salad.There wasn't enough dressing so I doubled the mayo, dijon and dill. I also used celery and green onions instead of red onion. YUMMY!
