This is probably the best scratch cake I have ever made. Usually the scratch ones end up very dense and heavy. This one is light and fluffy and I used a butter and powdered sugar frosting which was very delicious. I baked it for 30 minutes which was perfect. Don't worry if the batter seems a little runny.....that's fine!

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Well, I never had made this recipe before and took a HUGE risk with it. I made it x 15 in two roasters and served it along with pasta and homemade meatball along with other items for our All Church Night!.....It was a huge success and I had a ton of compliments and people kept asking me for the recipe!!! Anyhow, I am going to try to can this recipe so I have it at my ready right out of the jar! Hopefully I can grow some tomatoes and use them in this awesome recipe!

Honey Oatmeal Bread II

Leftover Turkey Casserole

i have made this so many times now and i can't even remember. i have tweeked it over time and used turkey or chicken. on top of the stuffing i have put in a layer of shredded cheddar and then top with french fried onions. it is delicious!!

Thick Cut-Outs

This cookie is so mild. I use frosting that consists of 1 stick of real butter, 1 box of powdered sugar, 1 tsp. flavoring like lemon, vanilla or maple and then you add a little milk to get it to a nice spreadable consistancy. You can color it any desired color. I only bake the cookies for 7 minutes on parchment paper and they come out perfect every time! I have also just sprinkled them with colored sugar before baking and that turns out really nice too.

Coconut Macaroon Brownies

I made these brownies and I did not have unsweeted coconut so I used sweetened. I also ended up melting the butter completely which I believe helped make the batter more spreadable which some reviewers have complained about. We served the brownies with a mixture of blueberries and strawberries over the top with cool whip. I will definately make them again because they were relatively easy to make and very delicious!!

Amish White Bread

the best part about this bread is that it tastes great right out of the oven, and then the next day it slices so perfectly. i could eat for every meal. even my non bread liking husband thought it was super!!

Brown Sugar Shortbread

I was trying to find a recipe like Lorna Doone's. I will never eat them again. This recipe will forever be my favorite butter cookie. They are delicious and so easy to make A+++++!!!
