Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Very very sweet. Almost too sweet. I would add less sugar next time and a pinch more salt. Moist though. Took 60 minutes to bake rather than the 50 called for, and I used a disposable aluminum bread pan.

Blueberry Buckle

For one, this will make your house smell AMAZING. I don't like blueberries, but this makes me love them. The cake is moist, the top is crunchy with margerine or crusty with butter. (I made both) Only change I made was a teeny bit less flour (1/2 cup?) and I added vanilla. Also tossed the blueberries in flour before I put them in.

Slow Cooked Corned Beef for Sandwiches

Came out pretty darned good. I used Miller Lite, as I'm not a fan of Guiness, and I won't make any food with wine or beer I wouldn't typically drink. I threw it all in my slow cooker and went downtown to celebrate St. Patty's day. When I got back my kitchen stunk to high heavens, but the corned beef was perfect. (as good as a jewish deli near me, and much less expensive)

Barbie's Tuna Salad

Super Sausage Gravy

Really REALLY good. Used store bought biscuits. First time I made it, I used the whole tube of sausage. Boyfriend said it was too much meat. Second time I made it, I used half the tube of meat and the same amount of other ingredients....Just right.

Marinated Flank Steak

I used balsamic vinegar, and followed the rest of the recipe to a t, and it was phenomenal! Once I marinated for a few hours, and the next time, I put the flank steak and marinade in a freezer bag and tossed it in the freezer for later. (as someone else suggested) Turned out great both ways!

Key Lime Pie VII

I used two cans of sweetened condensed milk (which was almost three cups) and I used regular store bought limes (took about 6 or so). This was DELICIOUS! It tasted very authentic, and I lived in Florida and sampled some of the best.

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

I have a gas oven, and I too had a slightly raw (and hard to slice) roast. I think next time, I will keep the oven set to warm after the high temperature and use a thermometer I can leave in the oven. It was very tender, just a little more rare than I would have liked.

Quinoa and Black Beans

I went with the group and only added only one can of beans. I tossed in a little salsa for color and a little extra flavor too. I really liked the result. It was sweet because of the corn, but had a nice bite to it because of the spices and fresh cilantro.(I am a fan of cilantro) My boyfriend wasn't as thrilled about it.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Very very good. Have made this a few times. Don't go el-cheapo on the wine. Make sure it's one you would drink. Makes a big difference.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

I used a pork loin due to the cost, rubbed the meat with lipton onion soup mix and covered with the root beer. It came out perfect! I will definitely use this recipe again.
