Great Pumpkin Dessert

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2011
This was really good. My family loved it. I took the advice of another reviewer and used spice cake instead of yellow cake mix and it was wonderful.

Creamy Chipotle Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2011
This was good but nothing out of this world. Skip the butter - it isn't needed.

Cream Puffs

These were delicious and so impressive! I made as is, except I used parchment paper, added vanilla to the batter and used the toothpick trick.

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2011
This was pretty good but nothing spectacular. I might make it again if I don't have another recipe for orzo.

Baked Chicken and Zucchini

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2011
This was really good! I did have some changes though - I used panko breadcrumbs, I did not cook or rub oil on the zucchini (just put it on the bottom of the pan), I also did not put any cheese on top of the chicken. This was easy and pretty healthy.

Chicken Chilaquiles

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
This was really good! I took the advice of other reviewers and used cut up corn tortillas instead of chips and added 1 can of black beans. Next time I would layer the cheese instead of putting it all on top.

Simple Sassy Salmon

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
This was delicious. I didn't add the oil or butter to save on calories and I'm glad because it didn't need it!

Jennie's Heavenly Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2011
This was really easy to make. I did it on my lunch break. I added peas to the last few minutes of cooking. It def needs seasoning. I added garlic powder, salt, pepper and red pepper for a little spice.

Shrimp Quinoa

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2011
This was really good with some revisions. I omitted the raisins and red bell pepper and replaced green beans for the asparagus. This lacked a little flavor so I added a few spashes of soy sauce and some additional seasoning.

Texas Ranch Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
This was really good. I subsituted 1 cup of sour cream like other reviewers' suggested. I also added shredded sharp cheddar cheese. It makes a lot and there was A LOT leftover from a dinner of 7 people. The leftovers weren't as good which is why I'm rating this a 4 instead of a 5.

Strawberry Pizza

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
This was excellent! I used refrigerated cookie dough. I should have cooked it a little longer though (about 15-20 minutes). I didnt use the crushed strawberry sauce and it didn't need it. My brother said this was the best dessert my sister and I have ever made.

Quinoa with Chickpeas and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2011
This was GREAT! I used 2 cups of water and only simmered the quinoa for 15 minutes. Also, instead of the olive oil, I used a few squirts of a low-calorie balsamic vinegar dressing. I can't wait to have the leftovers!

Parmesan Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2011
These had a great taste but I had to use a lot more oil that the recipe called for in order to keep the breading on the pork chops. I won't be making these again because of the oil and fat content, but I will say that the pork chops were very tasty.

Lemon Chicken Soup II

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2011
Delicious!! For the chicken, I used a rotisserie chicken and instead of rice, I used orzo. This was great, but it needs more seasoning like oregano, garlic powder and onion powder. I will be making this again!
