Chocolate Scotcheroos

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
My great grandmother used to make these and no one can beat hers! These are a good second place though. Next time I will use a little less peanut butter and just use semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of the butterscotch.

Baked Halibut Steaks

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
This was so good! I had to use orange roughy b/c thats all the store had and so I was worried but it turned out great. I did take a shortcut by using the canned diced tomatoes w/garlic and oregano and then added additional fresh garlic and basil and it was perfectly flavored! Served over brown rice. Thanks for the great meal!

Rainbow Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2009
This is so good! You can def add or delete ingredients to make it your own. I added cubed cheese and a can of sliced black olives. I used a bottle of light zesty italian, salt and pepper and then let it sit overnight. I can't wait to have it again today for lunch!

Easy Tilapia with Wine and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2009
This was SOOOOOOO bland and I even added extra basil and garlic. I was really looking forward to this but it was a huge disappointment! There are so many other recipes on this website for tilapia that are A LOT better. Sorry.

Easy Chicken Satay

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2009
This was very good! I was trying to take the healthy approach so I used lite coconut milk and then I baked the chicken with the marinade at 350 for about 45 minutes. I drained the juices and marinade 3 times. Then I added the chicken to the sauce on the stovetop. I served this over a bed of lettuce with diced green onions and tomatoes. This was really good! The peanut sauce and chicken were perfect on top of the salad but next time I might try with rice!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
I love snickerdoodles but I was very disappointed with this recipe! These cookies came out flat as a pancake (I even bought new baking soda and cream of tartar) and the flavor wasn't right either! Sorry but I will NOT be making these again!

Chicken with Mushrooms, Prosciutto, and Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
This was one of the best recipes I have tried from this website! I added onions and mushrooms at the bottom of the dish. I added 1 TBSP of cornstarch and thought the sauce was still runny until I actually poured it on the chicken. It was perfect! Next time, I am not going to add the cornstarch. This is a must try!

Taco Pizza

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2009
This was great! I did make some changes though that I thought would make the pizza what I was looking for: Used a store bought crust that you add water to and then it is the perfect dough (make sure to cook the dough for about 6-7 minutes before you put the toppings on it), i sauteed an onion and then used ground turkey (healthier) and then added the taco seasoning to the meat mixture. When I layered the pizza I put a can of refried beans down, then some salsa, then the meat mixture, then the cheese. When I took it out of the oven, I added chopped lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream. The only complaint that I have is that this was really heavy! Next time I am going to use less turkey meat and less cheese.

Baked Soy Lemon Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
This was great! I used low sodium soy sauce and a 1/2 C was just the right amount. I also skipped on the vegetable oil bc it was not needed. I will def be making these again.

Baked Tomatoes Oregano

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
These were pretty good! I did not use the olive oil (didn't need it and it reduced the amount of calories). I tried reheating the leftover tomatoes the next day and it was not good but they were good when they came out of the oven the first time. Next time I will high broil the tomatoes for a few minutes at the end.

Asian Roll Lettuce Wrap

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
This was AMAZING!!! I can't believe how easy and healthy it is! I did make a few changes...sauteed half an onion before adding the turkey and then crumbled it before adding the other ingredients (just gave it more flavor and consistency). For the toppings I used, shredded carrots, green onions, water chestnuts and alfalfa sprouts. To the sauce (which is unbelievable by the way) I did not add the water and I added a teaspoon of thai chili paste for some heat and it was perfect! I think if I would have added the water it would not have been as good. I will def be making this again and I can't wait to have the leftovers for lunch today! Thank you for the recipe!!!

Grilled Halibut with Cilantro Garlic Butter

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2009
This was pretty boring. There are plenty of other healthy fish recipes out there that are a lot tastier. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great.

Quick and Easy Sauteed Spinach

I used real minced garlic instead of the salt and skipped on the parmesan to save calories and this was delicious. I also added a little bit of pepper.

This was pretty good but not my favorite dip ever. Thanks for the recipe but I don't think I will be keeping this one in my recipe box. It was just missing something.
