Chicken Adobo I

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
4 stars cause of the salt...don't need it...good base recipe though! I add jalepenos while I am browning the chicken. I also had a lime laying around, squeezed in the juice as suggested by another reviewer and it was very good. We all love Adobo, works great with pork as well!

Famous Chicken Adobo

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
As the other recipes state I add the garlic and onions after I have started to brown the chicken, but I also add a few jalepeno peppers to give it a nice kick. Still an excellent and very easy recipe that EVERYONE loves. you can also try taken the chicken out when done and making a gravy to go over the rice and chicken..YUM

LuvAnn's Guacamole

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2007
This is the way I have made Guac since spending some time in Corpus Christi. Loose all the salt, just a pinch or two will do, add more cilantro and it is a hit. I know the salt thing is person taste, butt...still a great recipe

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2006
A very simple and very tasty recipe for Pork Chops. You can definitley cut down on the amount of bread crums, I also threw in some Rosemary from my garden. I used very thick chops and cooked them for 35 minutes-still juicy. I served them with a nice corn casserole and the only thing left was the dirty dishes. "A KEEPER" Thanks Elisa

Corn Casserole I

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2006
I was looking for a nice side to go with my Pan Fried/Oven Baked pork chops. The was a very simple easy wonderful recipe. I did use reduced fat cheese and sour cream, I also subbed egg beaters in and added some diced Jalepenos and the flavor was very enjoyable. As soon as a little cooler weather hits, I will do up some chilli and my new favorite corn casserole.

Key West Penne

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2006
This is a very easy and tasty recipe. I did substitue hot grilled italian sausage for the scallops, it seemed to give it a nice contrast, I also used both pesto and sundried tomatoes. We had a couple over for dinner and they said it was the best pasta they had ever eaten.
