Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2006
This is a wonderful recipe!!! The butter, soy sauce, and balsamic vinegar tastes great over the asparagus. I also added a little parmesan cheese to asparagus before removing from oven.

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Fantastic-great creamy taste. I do recommend to precook bacon/use cream cheese with chives already mixed in. I also added a can of drained mushrooms & some sour cream. Will make again!!

Baked Salmon Fillets Dijon

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
Very good. I did add some honey, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, basil & oregano to add a little more flavor. It did take about 20 minutes to cook since I had thicker pieces of salmon.

Taco Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2007
Very good & easy!!! I did use a can of Mexicorn instead of hominy and otherwise followed the recipe exactly. Very good to add sour cream, cheese, & tostito chips to as well when serving. I love hot stuff so I added some hot sauce to mine & loved the extra kick.

Broccoli Chicken Delight

Very good. My husband wasn't as fond of it because he thought the frozen broccoli was too crunchy. I really liked it though.

Shrimp Etouffee II

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2007
Great recipe. I did use some more shrimp & used the stovetop method. Had to add some chicken broth & milk as well. I added a can a drained mushrooms, worchestershire sauce, and some bay leaf. I think that it would be good to add some water chestnuts & bacon pieces next time. Definitely has a kick! Will definitely make again. The hardest part is cutting up the vegetables.

Very good. I used 3 chicken breasts instead of two, added 2 boiled eggs (chopped), fresh parsley. I also used Miracle Whip (for the creamy dressing) and a lot more of the coleslaw dressing.

Honey Baked Chicken II

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2008
Great. I did change some things...only used 1/4 cup butter, no curry, added a few teaspoons of mayo, added some A1 Steak Sauce. Cooked covered for 30 minutes & uncovered for the rest. Also broiled for a few minutes at the end to get crispy. These were very juicy & were full of flavor.

This was great! Serve with tortilla chips. I used 2 cans of cooked chicken since I was in a hurry & it worked fine. Also added some cayenne pepper & garlic powder.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
Very good. Used 3 chicken breasts,1/2 onion, pepper & garlic powder, 1 can cream of chicken, 1 can cream of mushroom, & almost 1 can of chicken broth (all low Na). Used one 10 ounce can biscuits. Cooked for 4 hours on high & then added biscuits & cooked for 1.5 hours more. Very good. Could have used a little more dumplings & possibly cooked them a little longer.

Great! Did use a can of Rotel tomatoes with green chiles (mild) & mixed in with the other ingredients prior to making instead of putting tomatoes on top.
