Cheese Garlic Biscuits II

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2010
I am a cook, not a baker, so I thought I better do a half batch just to see if they worked. AMAZING! So easy, I think if I can make them they are foolproof;) Can't wait to make a full batch tomorrow for my Mom's birthday dinner, her favorite restaurant is RL:) My kids are picky eaters and can't wait for me to make more.

All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
I used this recipe for my first time at canning. It was the perfect treat for my husband on his Christmas morning toast. Thank you so much for a new family favorite. I ended up with 6 1cup jars for gift giving.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
Fantastic fudge! This is the second time I've attempted fudge, the first did not work out so well. I invested in a $5 candy thermometer, well worth the money. Thanks for a wonderful recipe.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
These are tasty little treats that we have renamed;) Chocolate Peanut Butter Cuppy Cups. Easy to make, and even easier to eat. I throw the bag of peanut butter cups in the fridge for a few minutes, it makes it easier to peel off the paper wrapping, and into the freezer they go for when the cookies are baked. Make the cookie dough, pop the bowl in the fridge for at least a half hour, makes them easier to handle. Bake for 7 minutes, push in the peanut butter cups, and back into the fridge for an hour. I found the best pan to use is the Pampered Chef mini muffin tin, it makes 24 at a time. I use a spoon to loosen the edges of the cookie after they come out of the fridge. I took a batch to a Christmas party last weekend, I asked the hostess where she wanted me to put them, she said on the kitchen table and she'd put them out later with the other desserts. Well they didn't make it to the dessert table, gone in 25 minutes:) Thanks for a new family favorite!

Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2006
We had this for dinner last night, and when I asked if it deserved 5 stars, my 6 yr old daughter said it should get a hundred stars. Enough said for me. We did fajitas, and any recipe that gets the kids to try new things is great in my books!

Old Fashioned Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2006
I made it twice this week. It just flew out of the fridge! The second time I made 3 cups of noodles, and 1 tablespoon of mustard. The perfect macaroni salad, just like Nana used to make.
