Spicy Dorito(R) Taco Salad
This is one of those meals you wish you had more room in your tummy. I've had many taco salads, but none to equal this one. The only change I made was cut the sugar in half.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
I followed the recipe to a T. I used 3 1/2 Cups of "Southern Style Hash Browns", which is just diced potatoes. Saved a lot of work. Used 1 large stalk of celery sliced thinly and an 8 oz. pkg of diced ham. The soup was easy to make and delicious. I would, however, suggest you have 4 people for dinner or you may try to eat the whole pot yourself. It is that good.

Real NY Jewish Rye Bread
Followed the recipe pretty close. I stirred the yeast in the water with a fork and then dipped the fork in sugar and used that to stir again, which was plenty to feed the yeast. I also used brown sugar instead of demerara sugar, which I never heard of before, but intend to look for it soon. Instead of the bread pan, I used a round Brotform basket to give it an Artisan look and baked it on a preheated pizza stone. The result was a nice looking loaf of wonderful tasting rye bread.
