These cookies are fast, easy and fantastic. I have made them for company and they have all wanted the recipe.

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2007
Added about 1 TBSP of flour to thicken it and added 1/9 TSP of Nutmeg for a little extra flavour. My kids loved it.

Apple Strudel Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
Very moist. The kids loved them. (this was my review two years ago) I made these this morning and couldn't understand why it has taken me two years to make them again. So yummy. I grated 2 apples and cut one, next time will even cut more into the batter. Next time I will also add cinnamon to my batter.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2008
These were incredibly soft and chewy. All the kids loved them and my husband gobbled them up. This recipe is a keeper! *UPDATE: These are my favorite cookies but I tweak them. I omit the vanilla and use mint extract instead. Instead of milk chocolate chips I use mint ones. These are AMAZING!

Turkey Goulash

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2008
Needed a bit of tweaking to meet my families taste buds but it was even better the next day after all the flavors had a chance to sit.

Mint Wafer Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2008
My husband loves these cookies. They have turned out each time with a crispy outer ridge and a chewy, soft center. It was a hit with the kids as well.

Oatmeal Raisin Toffee Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
This recipe is a hit every time. They always turn out soft and chewy, never hard and dry. There are no changes needed.

Shortbread Meltaways

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2008
Very delicate and a bit crumbly but very good and a definite make again. The ones with the toffee bits baked in went faster then the plain ones.

Pineapple Crisp

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
What an amazing dessert fresh out of the oven topped with some whipped cream. I made this to use up a fresh pineapple that was starting to look old. I had my doubts. I even made my husband try it first because I didn't think it would be any good...I was way off! In the past month I have made this 3 more times and have served it to company without complaints. Put your doubts aside and try this recipe!!

Golden Potato Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2008
Pretty good but I found that the cheese was the predominate flavour. Next time I might use less or none at all and let the potato and bacon (I didn't use ham) be the main attraction.

Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2008
This was my first pork loin and it turned out wonderful. It was moist, flavorful and juicy. It was tender enough to cut with a fork. I made up the rub, applied it to the loin and then sealed the roast in a food saver bag to get it coated better, left it for about an hour. I browned it in olive oil and garlic before throwing it into the oven. It didn't need the full two hours as others have stated. I did make my own gravy with the pan drippings and wine, I pressed it threw a sieve before serving.

Jerky Lover's Jerky - Sweet, Hot and Spicy!

So easy to make and great flavor. I had to throw some in the freezer just so it wasn't all consumed in one day.

Fresh Peach Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2008
Great sauce for crepes or waffles. I added a bit of cinnamon and a smash of peach flavored Vodka. *Made this again and used brown sugar, no cinnamon and more peach vodka. Let the vodka boil off so that only the flavour is left behind.

These muffins are moist and delicious. By following the recipe exactly, or by taking the reviewers suggestions, these always turn out and are a hit with young and old.

Grilled Cheese Sandwich

A comfort food classic!! Pair it with a bowl of tomato soup (I like my tomato soup with chunks of cheese, a few shakes of Tabasco sauce and parsley).

Spring Lime Tea Cookies

Reviewed: May 5, 2008
Very light and fluffy but I found them too light on taste. I think next time I make them I will add at least 1 extra tsp. of lime zest.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: May 15, 2008
I used 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 cup mini chocolate chips and 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips. I omitted all the pecans since none of us are big nut fans. They were decent muffins although a tad dry and crumbly. If I was to make them again I might soak the oatmeal for longer.

Easy and Elegant Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: May 15, 2008
Even using the suggested revisions (salt, pepper, garlic powder) my family found it lacking in flavour. I probably wouldn't bother with this one again.
