Mom's Baked Egg Muffins

I missed the part where I was supposed to grease the muffin pan--big mistake. I got them to come out of the pan but part of the bread stuck to the bottom. I also beat the eggs (I only used 3 eggs) and I used bacon bits instead of cooking bacon. I thought they were delicious and will make again.

Real Hummus

My version turned out awesome. I used 2 T. garlic, 3 T. tahini, and 1/2 t. salt. I won't need to buy hummus at the store anymore!

Mushrooms and Peas Rice

This turned out way too soupy for me. Blah flavor even when I tried to add things to kick it up a notch like minced onion and garlic powder. I will not make again.

Absolutely Best Brownies

I just made these tonight and they were delicious. I added some chocolate chips. I also underbaked them by 5 minutes and they were just right. Whipped them up in like 10 minutes. Gotta try 'em!

Spinach Lasagna II

I made some changes to make it easier on myself. I used a large jar of spaghetti sauce instead of "making" it using the first 4 ingredients. I also used the nobake lasagna noodles to save time. It turned out great, even for my meat lovers in the family!!

Tea Time Tasties

This was a quick and easy recipe using items I always have on the shelf. I used pecans in mine since I love pecan pie. I had some pecan bits I put into the mix and put I pecan half on top. They turned out great!

Easy Whipped Cream

This turned out great. I made this to go on top of a chocolate creme pie--they were a great combo. I cut back on the sour cream and added more cream like several other reviewers and was happy with the results.

Chocolate Cream Pie II

I made this for Easter Sunday dinner. The flavor was good but it did not set up totally. When I cut it, it was kind of runny. I attempted to add more corn starch after i read some of the reviews, when I was stirring over the heat, but then I ended up with corn starch lumps. The flavor of the pie was fabulous. I made whipped cream for the top with another recipe I got off here.

Mama's Asian Chicken and Rice

I made this for dinner tonight. I didn't have the chinese five spice so I used a little of the chinese chili sauce. It was pretty spicy but had a good orange taste. I used dried orange peel since I didn't have fresh and it was fine. I will made this again.

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

I made this tonight for dinner. My husband even ate it, and he doesn't like red chili. I omitted the jalapeno peppers and used 2 cans of chopped chiles instead. I did mash up one of the cans of beans for texture.

Sunflower Broccoli Salad

Easy to make fresh salad. Usually have everything I need on the shelf so it is great when you need something quick. I like the sweetness of the dressing with the saltiness of the sunflower seeds.
