Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2014
very good. I had my doubts when I was cooking it, I didn't think it smelled enough of that lovely taco smell but then I tasted it and I loved it. I added a little extra garlic, onion and chili powder. It was perfect.

Italian Bread Bowls

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2013
I made these tonight and filled then with seafood chowdah! I made 6 bowls instead of 8 and added 3 minutes extra to the baking time. (33 minutes total) I placed them all on the same sheet and they did bake together but it wasn't a big deal, I easily cut them apart. I also baked them for the first 15 minutes while my oven was pre-heating and THEN brushed them with egg wash so they would be set in their shape. They were perfect. I make bread a lot, so I eat all types of flavors/types and I thought these were a perfect base for a soup.

White Bread For The Bread Machine

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
This is the only recipe that I use for white bread in my bread machine. It comes out great. I set my crust on medium and it comes out perfect every time. You can also use very soft room temperature butter, or melted butter, which I had to do one time when I realized I was out of oil.

Baked Doughnuts

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2007
These were great. They are so yummy. I just plopped them into 13x9 pans and baked them. They may not be like doughnuts but they are a wonderful treat, and really easy to make. Don't worry if you don't have buttermilk, I just added 1 TBSP of white vinegar to 1 CUP of milk and let it sit a while, mixed it well, and added one cup to the mixture to the wet ingredients. I also used syrup because I had no honey, and they came out perfect. I am serving mine with icing on them. You must try this!

Scottish Shortbread IV

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2007
This is SO YUMMY! I was very confused though, because at the top it calls for a different amount of flour than the recipe instructions at the bottom. I changed the serving size to 12 instead of 24 because I didn't have enough butter the day I made them.
