Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2015
It was okay...a little too much tomato taste for me.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2014
It was really dry and kind of bland. I used George Foreman and used frozen chicken pieces. If I make it next time I'll thaw the chicken all the way and try to use the grill. I'll probably use it again because my husband liked it.

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2013
I don't eat hamburgers but, my husband does. I made this for him and he loved it. :) I used 1/2 C ketchup and 1/4 C barbecue sauce as suggested by another reviewer. He said it was the bomb.

Eagle Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2013
I love this salad! It's so versile, you can add or subtract anything you want. I added some leftover turkey, it was amazing! I also added a bit more mayo and seasoned it up a bit to my liking. I encourage everyone to try it. :)

Homemade Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2012
This was pretty good....I did make some changes. I omitted the celery and broccoli while adding some crushed red pepper flakes and bacon. This soup is very versatile. I think next time I will add flour to thicken it and red onions.

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2012
I made this by accident....I had made an egg salad from this site with too much mustard so I found this recipe and all I had to do was add the potatoes. It's delicious! :)

Scalloped Tomatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2011
This was a mess; the brown sugar made the tomatoes bitter. This won't be a repeat in my house.

Banana Split Cake I

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2011
Made this for a family get together and everyone raved about it. I did change it a little; I used refrigerated liquid eggs instead of raw eggs...that kinda freaks me out and I didn't beat the butter mixture the whole 20 minutes (I don't think it made a difference). It was still tasty. :)

Salsa Guacamole

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2011
This was excellent! It was so quick and easy too. I did (like others) change it a little. I added white onions instead of green (that's what I had) and chopped some fresh tomatoes as well. I also used real garlic cloves and not garlic powder and lime juice instead of lemon. VERY GOOD!

3BC (Best Baked Bean Casserole)

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2010
I give this 5 starts b/c it's delicious! Even when I accidentally put 1 tablespoon of mustard in instead of teaspoon and no bacon b/c I didn't have any. It is very, very tasty! I say try it, next time I will add the bacon.

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2010
This is an exceptional Macaroni Salad! I didn't think it was too sweet at all, like most did. I added hard-boiled eggs and three kinds of olives to it (green, black and katamala). Very, Very Good!

Beans-n-Franks

Reviewed: May 29, 2010
Very tasty! Although I'm not sure how it feeds 6, it just barely was enough for my husband & I. I don't think it was too sweet like others did either. This will be a staple in our house and next time I'll add more onions and bacon.

Quick and Easy Brownies

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
YUMMY!!!! These are VERY tasty! I didn't use (like most bakers suggested) all the flour and I didn't have any vanilla or walnuts. They still came out extremely good, soft and chocolate and so easy to make!

Rice and Raisin Breakfast Pudding

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2010
After eating the second day it's still good but, I found it needs something, I think honey would be good in it too. I've never had rice pudding before and I have to say this was FANTASTIC!!! It's a good stick-with-you breakfast and will be a staple in my house. I have to say however that the 1 cup water to 1 cup rice ratio didn't seem to work out that well for me. I was afraid of burning the rice so I didn't cook it as long as I should have, which unfortunately resulted in some bits of hard rice. Next time I will add more water w/ the rice before adding everything else. I also didn't use raisins or cardamom just because I didn't have either. I used almonds and walnuts instead. It's an excellent dish! Thanks for sharing Jessie!

Chicken and Fresh Tomato Slow Cooker Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
This is a great soup, especially for the cold months. I "doctored" it up a bit though, I used cayenne pepper, seasoned salt, pepper, and soy sauce. All the spices gave it a bit of a bite but, was very, very good. I will be making this again. I served this with a loaf of french bread with garlic spread on it. YUM!!!!

Brown Sugar Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2009
The BEST BROWNIE bar none! It's soft and chocolaty and delicious! If I could give this more stars I would! I took it to a party in an 8x8 pan and by the end of the night people were scrapping the bottom of the pan for crumbs. It was so easy to make, this is the only brownie recipe I will ever use.

Quick and Easy Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
This is a very quick and tasty dish! My husband and I both really enjoyed it! I put it together with a couple of Chinese dumplings and frozen sweet potato fries. This will be a great staple in our house. If I can figure out how to get the sauce to thicken after cooking and use it as a dipping sauce or glaze afterwords that would be even better!
