This looks like it will work as a base for a variety of things. I am going to try it in my Zoku.

The Best Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2014
Ok, so normally I use a bottle of italian dressing but I only had the fancy ones i like on my salad, so I looked this up. I took this a step further and I didn't measure I just dumped from the shaker bottles about seven shakes into my ziplocs as I went because I had three thick steaks and I wanted to use premixed seasoning in the liquids listing but --because I didn't have enough Montreal Steak for all three steaks, I mixed up dry mustard, black pepper, shallots, garlic salt, chile and garlic powder, fennel seeds, and cumin seed I shook it up really well in an empty container and sprinkled some in each ziploc baggie, maybe a large serving spoonful in each. I left out the soy sauce for the extra salt but I used extra worcestershire because I like the rich flavor. By basalmic was chunky (oops) so I used apple cider and rice vinegars and I put a HUGE serving spoon full of garlic in because I have the preminced stuff in the fridge and you cannot have too much garlic. Smells Awesome!

White Chocolate Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2013
I subbed butterscotch chips for white chocolate. Will have to try the cinnamon too. Not reals sweet. Doesn't bowl you over. Really smooth mellow taste. I used all the spice I had left but prob could have used more.

Chocolate Oil Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2013
I used special dark cocoa and put in 3/4 c because most cakes are not chocolatey enough for me. I also put in an extra 1/4 c oil to compensate... its in the oven now, but the batter is delicious. I agree on the salt, I think it is salty, I will probably leave it out next time as I used apple cider vinegar.

Italian Amaretto Margaritas

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2006
I love amaretto and am always looking for good recipes! Thanks for this one. I made it on the rocks because my daughter was sleeping and I didn't want to wake her with the blender. I sugared the glass, then measured the ingredients in equal parts then added handfulls of crushed ice from my fridge to the sugarline and stirred it a bit then topped it off with a little more amaretto and a splash of cointreau! Yum.
