French Spring Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
Great recipes! Although, I made some changes like other people. I added a garlic clove while sauting the onion/leeks. I also replaced 2 cups of water for 2 cups of chicken broth and I used half & half instead of heavy cream. We eated with a sliced of sourdough bread. Delicious!!! Next time I'll add some chopped grilled chicken at the end, since my husband needs some meat with his meal.

Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2007
This recipe was great, but I made a few changes based on the reviews I read. I, like others, added 1tsp cinnamon, 1/2tsp nutmeg and 1/2c raisins to the mixture. I also used 5c bread instead of 3. Instead of whole milk I used 3c. 1% milk (scalded) and 1c.of heavy cream. I let the bread soak into the mixture for 45minutes. I placed the dish in the oven for about 45 in 350 (no water bath). It was to die for!!! This recipe was great, but I made a few changes based on the reviews I read. I, like others, added 1tsp cinnamon, 1/2tsp nutmeg and 1/2c raisins to the mixture. Amazingly Good Eggnog

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2006
When doing this recipe pour the rum last and check to make sure it is up to your likes. I made it with the original amount of rum and it came out super strong, but it still a great recipe!
