About this Cook

My favorite things to cook
I used to bake the best cakes! Even sold them. Now it's cookies but leaning towards candy.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Green chile stew! and pozole! I do make good pozole!
My cooking triumphs
Won 2nd place at the county fair with my fudge recipes!!
My cooking tragedies
Raw fried chicken, but it was crispy on the outside! :-)

Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake I
I've made this for years! I use a butter golden cake mix. But the French vanilla sounds really good! I've also use mini loaf pans to use for gift giving. Freezes well too!

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler
This was great! I used peaches and nectarines, a nice fruity flavor. Made the recipe as it was written. Again very flavorful!
