Shoyu Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2011
I made these last night. Almost followed the directions to a tee...the only thing I changed was that instead of a cup of water, I used 1/2 c. chicken broth and 1/2 pineapple juice. I used very thin chicken and cooked it on the barbie...OMG...sooooooooo good. I also rendered down the sauce and added some pineapple tidbits...and gave the leftovers to my hubby for lunch served on a bed of rice. Very good recipe..will make again.

Not too bad...here's the way to do the rice. FREEZE IT FIRST. That way it stays nice and broken up

OMG!!!!!! Made this dish last night for my hubby and a friend. It was delish! It was easy to prepare and quick to make. The only things I did differently was I added a splash of white wine to the onion and garlic and some fresh (fried) mushrooms...wowowowowowowow...I will make this again and again and again. Thanks for the recipe.

Here's a little hint. Marinate your chicken in Zesty Italian dressing for a few hours or overnight. YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED!!!!! Try it.

Asparagus Appetizers

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2010
I have had a different version of these before and they were awesome. I used canned asparagus instead..and..for those of you that don't like blue cheese, you can use feta. These are a great little appy...and so nice to have in the freezer and handy for dropper inners.

Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2010
I have made these for a while now. You can cut down on the salt by using cream cheese. It doesn't seem to be so salty. I usually do these on the barby, I use two to four asparagus at a time and it works wonderful. I also used the light herb and garlic cream cheese.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
Made these last night. The flavour was amazing. I followed the advise of some and put them in the oven to sit while making more. DON'T DO THIS!!!! They were so nice and crispy and wonderful when they are first done, but then you stick them in the oven and they get softer. Still very very yummy....but I do suggest not doing the oven thingy.

Chicken Dijon

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
I just finished eating this chicken with my hubby. MY GOD!!!!! It was amazing. The only thing I did different was bake it in the oven longer than it said to and at a higher heat, 325 deg. F for about an extra 30 minutes. I must say that both my hubby and I admit..it is one of the BEST chicken dishes we have ever had. So moist and delicious. Thankyou for this recipe.

Cornish Game Hens with Garlic and Rosemary

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
This was an amazing recipe. I tried it out on our good friends and they are from Scotland. They said it was "BRILLIANT". You know what??? I believe it was. I did make a few adjustments in the sauce to have more. I made this with rice pilaf and asparagus. Without a doubt I will be making this again. My hubby still talks about it. Thanks for the recipe!!!!!!
