Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2008
Five stars for an easy, great recipe. I let the yeast bubble in the warm water for a few minutes before adding it to the flour and other ingredients. I added a little garlic powder and italian seasonings, then kneaded it a bit and rolled it out. It was very easy and good!

Perfect Turkey

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
This really is a perfect turkey! I made this last Thanksgiving. It was the first turkey I have ever made and it turned out wonderful! I may have used more vegetables and I definitely tucked some thyme sprigs and pat of butter underneath the skin. It was the best turkey I have ever eaten. Thanks!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2007
Oh my gosh, this is amazing soup! I used the taco seasoning from this website that is listed in one of the reviews. It was great and did not have the salty taste that taco seasoning packets sometimes have. I wasnt' sure about the beer so I used 6 oz. beer and 6 oz. chicken stock. I think the beer added a nice, almost sweet taste, that complimented the spicy taste. Next time I may add the whole bottle of beer. Great recipe! Thanks!

Spinach and Leek White Bean Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2007
I was pleasantly surprised by this great tasting soup. I omitted the leeks because I don't like onions and I added a little extra broth. It was very filling and very good. Thanks for the recipe.

Chicken Wing Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
This dip is fabulous! Our oven broke the day I made this so I just heated it over low heat on the stove for 20 minutes or so and it was great. Everyone loved the dip. I added some extra hot sauce because we like things spicy. Will definitely make this again.

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2007
This is a great recipe. I didn't have sour cream so I used about a can cream of chicken soup. I omitted the water and just mixed the chicken, spices, cream of chix soup, cheese and some of the homemade enchilada sauce from this website. It was very yummy!

Butterball Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2007
These dumplings are great! I used whole grain bread and white bread that I had leftover. I used my own chicken stock and added some carrots! Yummy! I might add some chicken next time.

Fat-Free Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2007
This soup is the best! I don't like chunk tomatoes so I used tomato soup and a can of tomato sauce instead. This is a great way to use all the vegetables I have in the house before they rot. I would have never thought of adding curry powder to a soup but it made all the difference! Thanks!

Christmas Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2007
This is a great recipe. I made it for the family on Christmas morning. I think I left the crusts on by accident, and used some leftover bacon and ham in the casserole. It was fabulous. Thank you!

This is a really tasty recipe. The only thing I thought was missing was some beans. I'd definitely make again with beans.

Shredded Beef for Tacos

YUM! I halved the recipe and used enchilada sauce instead of the tomato sauce. I also added a couple of dashes of hot sauce and some cumin. Thanks for this fabulous recipe!

Cheese and Broccoli Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2006
FABULOUS! I halved the recipe and used one cup white wine and 4 cups water. I ended up adding more cheese but I think it might be good without it too. Thanks!

Skillet Chicken Cordon Bleu

This recipe is fabulous! Very tasty. I somehow missed the part where it says to CUBE the chicken so I used full chicken breasts. They were very moist and good. Thumbs up.

Amy's Garlic Egg Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2006
This chicken is fabulous! I used 3 eggs to cover the chicken. One warning though, I poured some of the egg mixture over the chicken and when it pooled in the dish, it formed scrambled egg on the end of each breast. Pretty funny looking! It was very tasty and I will definitely make it again.

Easy Easy Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2006
Very Good casserole! I only had one big potato and I will use more potato next time. I also followed the advice of other reviewers and added some water to the tomato soup. I think it made the casserole too watery and next time I will stick to the original recipe! Overall good though and will probably be better when I follow the directions!

California Bean Dip

This is a great recipe! I will definitely make it again. The chili powder gives it a nice kick. Next time I will use a little less ranch and a little more italian for a different flavor.

Grandma's Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2006
This is the best dressing my husband and I have ever had! I made some slight modifications - onion powder instead of onion (I don't like them) and I added some red wine vinegar and garlic. It was so good, I thought I was going to lick my salad bowl!
