I use condensed milk instead of evaporated milk. 2 cups of sugar only. My family loves this recipe. Thanks for sharing your recipe

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2011
I changed the recipe, like others I used only 1 tsp of chili powder which gave it just the right amount of kick and I only added 1 tsp of black pepper....I increased the vinegar to 2 tablespoons too...To make it more of authentic sloppy joe sandwich I added 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 tsp of mustard and a couple shakes of worcestshire sauce. With the changes I made, it was truly a delicious hearty sandwich that me and my husband enjoyed. Should be even better tomorrow

Vegetable Soup II

Reviewed: May 17, 2011
This is my favorite vegetable soup. I also add 2 gloves of garlic, 2 tablespoons of old bay seasoning and 1 lb of crab meat. I didn't have barley this time so I doubled the pasta. These few tweaks make it taste more like Maryland Crab soup. Today is the perfect day for this soup cause its rainy and gloomy here in PA.

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
I made this for my husband the first time I had him over for dinner. It was his birthday and I wanted to make something special, this was PERFECT! It was easy to make and it looked like I slaved over the stove. I served it over white rice and broc. I didn't have the green onions and so I used an onion instead and I doubled the ingredients for the sauce.

Italian Wedding Soup I

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
I just made this recipe and it's delicious! I used spinach and I had to add more chicken broth 3 cups because the orzo sucked up all the broth...I can't wait for my family to try this. It's fabulous. I need to go and get a piece of crusty bread to along with it for dunkin!

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2007
this recipe was so good! I had a bowl to taste it and immediately had another bowl...I added sour cream and avocado to my individual serving...this has been added to my all time favorite soups...However I cut back on the amount of chicken on this recipe...I only used 4 chicken breast halves...and I cubes it and sauted it in the olive oil and onions then I added the rest of the ingredients...but I pretty much kept to the recipe other than that change...I will make this over and over again...
