Grilled Wild Duck Breast

Absolutely fantastic! We only had time to marinade for about 25 minutes. I cut our bacon slices in half, wrapped each half breast with the bacon. We shot one Goldeneye (crappy bird) and one hen wood duck (very tasty bird). I wrapped the Goldeneye with jalepeno slices along with bacon. I wrapped the Wood Duck with bacon only. Fried both bird breats. My father who has been hunting for 45 plus years thought the jalepeno was the Wood Duck. I can't imagine how good it would have been if I would have marinated it for 24 hours. Will do this over and over again. Great appetizer!!!

Ph-Nominal! I changed the meat up. Used Grouse and Pork, but other than that...I made it as the recipe is written (maybe a little extra cheese). Will use over and over again.

Autumn Spice Ham Steak

Very good. Baked at 325 instead of frying it. Just put the butter at the bottom of the baking dish. It was SO GOOD. I even forgot about the cinnamon!

Chocolate Pudding Fudge Cake

Breathtaking! I made extra glaze so I cut back in the amount of chocolate chips that went into the cake batter. I also didn't have chocolate pudding but I had vanilla. I can't imagine it with chocolate. I think it would be too much chocolate. This was ABSOLUTELY fantastic!

I'm giving this 5 stars because it is a great "base" recipe. I made a couple changes. One thing for sure is you NEED to have balsamic vinegar. As far as amount, it really depends on what you like. Start with a drizzle, stir, taste, and add more if needed. Also, toast the baguettes. I find that by using either olive oil or a little melted butter works great under the broiler. I also used red onion instead of a sweet onion. I prefer the color of a red onion for presentation. If you need it sweetened, just add a touch of sugar.

Yogurt Parfait

Great, I used many different berries (strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries). I also used Kashi granola. I served in a margarita glass and garnished with a sprig of mint. The ladies at the brunch thought they were in a top notch restaurant.

Floating Island Punch

Excellent! Made for a luau mainly for the kids so they felt included since the adults were drinking "adult frozen drinks". Kids loved it and the adults were taking it and adding it to their Pina Colodas for addition flavor. Definitely a keeper!
