Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2012
I didn't think it was anything special. Followed the recipe exactly and while it wasn't disgusting, I've had much better.

Southern Skillet Dinner

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2006
I read everyone's reviews and decided to be the wise man and not just the smart man...errr woman. so i combined two recipes i found on here and the meal came out perfect. the taste was extraordinary. i added 8 tbs of brown sugar to the meat as it was browing then i added cajun seasonin (4tbs), garlic and onion powder( 2 tsp each). it really was great. but without these ingredients. this meal would have gotten maybe a 3.

Sweet Smoked Pork Ribs

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2012
This rub was divine! I used boneless country style ribs and because I don't have a grill, I covered them with foil and baked them for an hour at 325 degrees. I didn't even need the sauce. I followed the recipe for the rub exactly and made a lot of it so I can use it on other things as well.

Mama Yev's Bread dip

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2006
This dip was really good. However, I tried it with different cheeses different nights (mozzarella, cheddar, and swiss) and couldn't really tell a difference in taste.

Easiest Teriyaki Marinade Ever

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2007
They did have a lot of flavor, I just didn't appreciate it and neither did my husband. If I make this again I will leave out the cinnamon.

I made this for our thanksgiving meal but my husband wouldn't stop drinking it so there turned out to be none left for the meal. But he did say you deserve a lot of stars for it!

15-Minute Dinner Nachos Supreme

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
Very good and quite filling. I used spanish rice instead of white rice and white corn tostita rounds. I crushed up the chips and mixed them in with the rice mix for my toddlers.

Used 2 cups of milk chocolate chips and one cup of Reese's peanut butter chips. Make sure you microwave for a minute a time and stir vigorously between cycles.

This was the first time I've ever made apple pie and I couldn't believe that I made something so good. This is better than any store bought apple pie I've ever had!

Chicken a la Camille

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2010
This chicken was so good and moist. I did not have italian seasoning so I used St Louis Style Grill Creations instead. I also cooked chicken thigh fillets instead of breasts. They are perfectly portioned and every bite is full of flavor. I find that unless I marinade chicken breasts, they do not retain flavor through the center.

Garlic Penne Pasta

It was really easy to make but kind of bland. I gave it a 4* because I needed a healthy recipe and it served its purpose in keeping my sugars down (I'm diabetic).

I was very skeptical about this recipe because it seemed like there wasn't enough cheese when I was cooking it. But it turned out perfect.
