This soup is delicious! The fresh herbs and kale make the soup really stand out from others. I would not change a thing!

Country Green Beans

I made this recipe using bacon instead of ham and it was divine! It is a great way to cook fresh green beans.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2008
This is a super simple recipe that tastes absolutely delicious! The only thing I changed is I added a sliced onion to the crock pot. Be sure and put the onion in the broth underneath the pork so it gets nice and tender.

Pecan Pie III

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2007
This pie recipe was incredible! I followed the recipe but added what other users recommended. 1/3 cup of butter then I substituted brown sugar for the white (much better flavor) and then added 1 Tbs of vanilla (I make my own with bourbon whiskey and vanilla beans). I always make the crust 1/2 white and 1/2 whole wheat. The perfect pie. My father told me it was better than the pecan pie his mother used to make. Now thats a complement coming from my dad. :)

Wine Baked Potato

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2006
I think the concept of this recipe is awesome, however I made a few changes as follows. I cut the potatoes as described and stuffed them with onions, but then I drizzled them with olive oil instead of butter. I then drizzled them with a table wine (merlot)and sprinkled them with kosher salt. The wine and olive oil give them such a nice flavor that is cooked in because of the foil (great idea!)

Best Ever Creamy Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2006
This recipe definitly lives up to it's name as being the "best ever"! I made the soup last night to rave reviews. I made a few minor adjustments as follows. First, I added 1/4tsp. Cayenne Pepper to "kick it up a notch". Then I added 1/2 cup sour cream (yummy). And I made sure that the 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese was sharp! That added so much more flavor. Excellent recipie. Would make again and again.
