Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2006
Wow! I can't believe it! Finally, I have found a sugar cookie recipe. I love these cookies. They are easy to make, you don't have to refrigerate or roll the dough... perfect! I too, like others, added the extra egg. Baked at 375 for 10 minutes. I'm not a fan of super sweet desserts but, if you are, I might recommend adding a little more sugar to the recipe. These are fantastic!

Portuguese Sweet Bread I

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2010
This sweet bread is better than most Portuguese sweet bread you will eat coming from even the sweetest old portuguese lady (sorry Grandma). I use my bread machine dough setting then shape into 12 rolls and let rise again before baking at 350 degrees until just browned. I also love this recipe because it can be easily adjusted to make a little or tons. Many recipes for portuguese sweet bread make a huge amount. Thanks for sharing!

Buttermilk Pancakes I

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2010
I was looking for a buttermilk pancake recipe with one egg to spare so I picked this one and I'm glad I did. Very simple recipe but delicious results. Used a wisk. The batter will look thick but go with it because you are in for a treat. These pancakes are what you'd expect at your favorite diner. Thank you for sharing. Perfect!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2013
These are the best! I've tried a few CCC recipes and this one by far serves as the perfect balance between crisp, chewy, and soft. The outside of these cookies have the ever slightest crispness before reaching the soft, moist, chewy center. This will always be my recipe for CCC! Thanks!

Delicious! I actually omitted the onion for my husband and kids and used fresh broccoli. Restaurant worthy. Love it!

Chinese Napa Cabbage Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2002
Very good! Next time I'll add some carrots, broccoli, and chicken. Take the advice of another reply and store the dressing seperate from the cabbage because it is soggy the next day.

Beef Yakitori

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2002
Very Good! I used sirloin cut into strips instead of chunks (because I was short on time) and marinaded for five hours. I broiled instead of grilled because I was out of charcoal and they turned out great. Just to let you know, I've been trying to duplicate the paper wrap chicken sauce at two local chinese restaurants and this is it! Can't wait to try it on chicken.

Best Ever Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2008
This recipe was very good and very fast. My daughter and I whipped these up in about 15 minutes. These are nice and soft and not hard, we added a bit of vanilla for flavor. This will be our new recipe for popcorn balls.

Praline Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2002
I've made this for the last two Thanksgivings at our home. Everyone who eats this demands the recipe. People even want to pass on Pumpkin Pie just to have more sweet potatoes! I don't add all of the sugar to the sweet potatoes though, just because I think the topping is sweet. But, they are great both ways. It just depends on you. Make it and you won't be dissapointed!

Very good! Took it to a get together and everyone liked it. This recipe makes quite a bit. If I made it in the future I might cut the miracle whip in half and scale it down a bit. Thank you

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2003
I made these leaving off the breadcrumbs and only used flour. I also added much more seasoning salt. These pork chops were the most tender I have ever tasted. I don't think I'm much for cream of mushroom soup so, that explains the low rating. If someone else loves that taste, then these are the chops for you!

Cola Pot Roast I

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2002
I thought that this roast was okay. It was very tender. I admit to leaving out the salt because I was concerened that it would be too salty- maybe this addition was needed to really enhance the flavor. I think that I'm just used to the traditional type taste of roasts.
