The Real Chicago Deep Dish Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2012
Excellent! The only thing I changed was to use olive oil instead of the corn oil. Thanks!

Tuna Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2011
I've never eaten tuna casserole and probably am not going to start now lol. But I've wanted to try this for my husband for awhile now. I tweaked it a little, adding less noodles and other ingredients (about 2/3 scaled down) and added a can of tuna. I also added some pepper into the mixture and didn't bother to melt the cheese - it will melt on its own while baking. I also left out the pimentos and other veggies and added some bread crumbs and a few bits of butter to the top to form a bit of a crunchy crust. It has all the makings of something I think my husband will like and am so pleased with how easily it all came together. Served with a small salad, not a bad weekday meal. Thanks for sharing.

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2011
Foolproof is right! I even forgot to add the salt and the bread still came out light and fluffy. It is in the oven now becoming croutons. But I wanted to say that putting the yeast together with the water first definitely does not fly against all the rules of breadmaking. In fact in all breadmaking apart from bread machines, it is one of the keys to success. It is called "proofing" the yeast. This way you are sure that your yeast is alive before you go through all the trouble of kneading and/or wasting the rest of your ingredients. What you don't want to do is add salt to your water. That can kill the yeast. So add that as per instructions after the flour. Can't wait to try this again later with the salt lol. Thanks for a great recipe and instructions.

I made some bread last night and forgot to add the salt lol. So now it is in my oven becoming croutons. Easy peasy. Thanks for the recipe and instructions!

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2006
These were every bit as good as everyone said. I'm so excited to give them to friends, especially the one who buys boxes and boxes of my daughters Girl Scout cookies at cookie time. They really do taste very much like the Thin Mints everyone craves. Thanks so much for the great recipe!
