Grandma's Chicken Chardon

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2014
I followed other reviewers' suggestions and increased the butter by 50% and it came out great. I only had chicken cutlets in the house and think that breasts would have been better. The smaller cuts didn't brown as well.

Chocolate-Chocolate Chip Bacon Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2011
Excellent cookies! I think that if you add more bacon, it'll be even better. I used 8 strips and it still wasn't enough after I baked off my first batch. I cooked up 3 more strips, crumbled them, and sprinkled them on top. Regular bacon would probably be better then maple because the sweet maple blends too easily with the sweet chocolate.

Teri-Chester Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
Simple to make. Not bad. Not a lot of flavor. Maybe if it marinated. I chose to bake it rather than microwave.

Basic Hummus

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2009
The first time I made this it was a HUGE hit! I added a Tablespoon of lemon juice and another clove (or two) of garlic with a dash of garlic powder. It was perfect. My friends all asked for the recipe.

Baked Garlic Green Beans

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2009
I used french style beans which shouldn't have made a flavor difference. I just didn't see this as a great alternative to just salt, pepper, and garlic.

Zucchini Bread

Applesauce instead of oil is so smart (and tasty!) I used less chocolate than called for and it was fabulous!!!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
My friends loved these cookies, but I found that 10-12 minutes just wasn't long enough. I cooked them for 15 (and I'm not in a high altitude.) The cookies didn't spread out to the cookie shape. After the first batch, I started flattening out the balls a bit and that helped.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
I tried the suggestion that jdc4him made, which was heating the pumpkin and dry goods before mixing in the liquids and it worked for me! I served it warm, which I highly recommend. So creamy. I haven't yet had it chilled so I hope it's just as good.

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2007
Very tasty. I tossed in some onion, mushrooms, and yellow pepper and I loved it. Update: I tried another version of this including the sauce other users suggested. I added some pepper, onion flakes, onion salt instead of powder, and minced garlic, plus a sprinkle of grated parmesan on each side and didn't use any salt. My brother said, "! This is good." High praise from a brother!

This was a fantastic, easy dish. I do not think that this was enough to serve 6.
