Chicken Diablo

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2006
I used half of the suggested amount of hot pepper sauce with tabasco sauce and I found it quite spicy. I used cubed tofu instead of chicken and used enough rice that when mixed together it was a bit like a jambalaya. I poured some Chunky Blue Dressing ontop and it was great. It was like eating a plate of Buffalo Wings.

Honey Mustard Tofu

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2006
I really liked this. Maybe next time I will add a bit less mustard but I really did like it. Normally with meals that are full of flavour, I tire of them before even finishing what is infront of me but I kept eating this.

Avocado Dessert

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2006
It was tasty for a few spoonfuls but I started becoming overwhelmed by the sugar after a few extra bites. I had some slices of kiwi around the bowl I was eating it in for decoration. I tried crushing it and putting it in the dessert itself, and it added a tangy touch.

Creamy Garlic Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2006
I decided to add 2 cloves of chopped garlic instead of powder for flavour. The end result was a very bitter dressing.

Warm Chicken and Mango Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2006
I had no yogourt and substituted it with sour cream which ended up fine. I adored the cream and the chicken on the salad, but found my self picking around the mango. It could just be me, but I didn't really dig the hot mangos on my salad. Meh.

AMAZING. My friend who hates dips admited to enjoying it. I made her ride give it a try when he came to pick her up.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Chews

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2006
These were definetly tasty but the recipe definetly needs to include the fact that it requires a double boiler. I ended up scorching the bottom of my pot and spent a grueling Saturday morning scrapping questionable looking burnt chocolate off the bottom of my pot.

Tangy Hawaiian Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2006
I think I might have added a bit too much curry powder by mistake, but in the end I found it much too over powering. I followed the general idea on the reviews and only used about a third of a cup of Soy Sauce. This recipe just wasn't very good. I ended up throwing it out. The chunks of pineapple just tasted gross with the barbeque sauce and curry and it ended up being a real waste of food after a few mouthfuls and throwing it out. I was watching the movie, "Rumour Has It" while preparing and eating this meal so now I will get horrible flashbacks every time I watch it. :(
