Risotto with Tomato, Corn and Basil

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2001
Great taste, easy to make and like an Italian restaurant, does not reheat well as a leftover.

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2003
I 1/2 the oil/butter, doubled the marsala( no sherry), more mushrooms,2 cloves garlic, and Italian seasoning instead of oregano. added some chicken broth too, best dinner I have made in quite a while. Kids DID NOT like the sauce, so next time I'll take theirs out. I will definatly use the rest of the bottle of wine!!

Peanut Blossoms

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2002
I used butter flavored crisco. In response to the lady who said these were awful, can't figure out what you did wrong. These quite possibly, are the EASIEST cookie in the world to make. Worst part is unwrapping the kisses, but if my 3 yr old can figure it out, well, the rest of you will be fine. My only problem......getting them out of my sight, so some will be left for the holidays.

Linguine Pescadoro

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2004
I'd give it 6 * if I could. I used 1/2 raw and 1/2 cooked shrimp. No scallops, 2 cans of minced clams and home canned tomatoes. No lemon zest either. Just warmed the cooked shrimp and clams, if you cook them too long they become rubbery. 3 out of 4 in this house loved it, don't go by the 4th. Could have used a touch more red pepper for more zip.

Awfully darn tasty. I did not use as much liquid as called for, and added fresh parsley, bay leaves and more pepper and salt in meatballs. Even hubby and kids liked, that in itself is a miracle!!
