Pot Stickers Traditional

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2002
Excellent. Ommitted the cabbage and added more water chesnuts. Sauce is wrong tho. Try 2T. soy sauce,2T. rice wine vinegar,1/2 tsp sesame oil & 1tsp. minced scallion. As always well worth the time and effort.

Fortune Cookies So Easy

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
Ok everyone, these are easy with some tips. Put the oven to 350, not 375. Grease cookie sheets really, really well. I added more water to thin the dough and added no vanilla extract, all almond and about 1 tsp. I used a old metal cookie sheet, not an airbake. Spread dough out THIN, bake 4 minutes, flip cookies over bake 30 seconds more. Work really quick, and these look just like the real things!

Favorite Hamburger Bites

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2005
First off, I've been making them for years. Don't add the minced onion, just mix,2T. mayo is all you need,if you can find Pepperidge farm dinner rolls(12 mini rolls to a pkg) this recipe will fill three of these. Just slice the whole bunch in 1/2, keeping them intact, spread, wrap in foil, and heat. These are just like White Castle and are suppose to be VERY oniony, so if you don't like onions, pick another recipe.

Garlic Parmesan Monkey Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2002
i omitted the salt, added more garlic powder, butter and minced fresh garlic. I needed twice the dipping ingredients, and even though I greased the pan mine stuck. Taste wise good, but could have used more of something, garlic? parsley??. Overall, good recipe, with a bit of tweaking.

Ham and Cheese Breakfast Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2002
After reading reviews, I tried and was very surprised. I did not add more eggs, but did use skim milk(diet reasons), cheddar cheese, fresh parsley, and baked the crust alone for more than 30 minutes. My hubby who really will only tolerate dishes like this loved it and we ate the whole thing. My kids were not as enthusatic but don't let that stop you. Very tasty and a great change of pace from regular dinner fare.

Too much broth, too watery and not "creamy" and bit too much basil. Will stick to my regular recipe.

Delicious! just like mom used to make. I must have had more lettuce than called for, I think it could have used more dressing. My kids would'nt touch it but they are too young to appreciate it.
