Favorite Hamburger Bites

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2005
First off, I've been making them for years. Don't add the minced onion, just mix,2T. mayo is all you need,if you can find Pepperidge farm dinner rolls(12 mini rolls to a pkg) this recipe will fill three of these. Just slice the whole bunch in 1/2, keeping them intact, spread, wrap in foil, and heat. These are just like White Castle and are suppose to be VERY oniony, so if you don't like onions, pick another recipe.

honestly I only used this recipe as a guide for my own creation. I used walleye, cheddar cheese, green onion, seasoned salt and pepper, 1 whole egg, one white. Fried in canola oil. Good ,but not something I'd make real often.

All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2004
I used Cortland apples, 1 1/2 c sugar, cooked on High 4 hours. Took it out put it thru the food mill, cooked on low another 5 hours. BWB 15 minutes , 7- 1/2 pints. Sure tasted good, not too sweet, have to wait until Grandma tastes it to find out how good it really is. Sure was easy enough.

Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2004
Wow! I used hot turkey sausage(2 links), fresh spinich torn, one can white beans drained instead of zucchini and green pepper.. Simmered two hours, added tortellini, 20 minutes later dinner was done. Next time i will either 1/2 or leave out wine, don't think it added that much to flavor. Did not improve as a leftover, very surprising. Very filling soup, good dinner.

I used cheddar cheese soup, and 1/2 can onions in the mix. It was "OK", but can't figure out what the 5 star hype is all about. Sorry this will not be made again.

This was good, but not the "best fish ever". Butter taste was great and I used fresh parsley, too bad the fat content was abismal.

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2004
Did change a bit, doubled broth, 2T. p. butter,1 tsp chilli paste, rest same. Plenty spicy kick for our Midwest palate. Both kids went nuts, hubby lukewarm (what's new)I could eat this everyday. Better hot or warm then cold. Don't store together in fridge. Save sauce for later, mine soaked up all the sauce then was too dry.

Doubled the filling, 9x13 pan, nutmeg in filling, cinnamon sprinkled on top. Yum Yum Yum! Even better with ice cream or whipped cream. Good as a leftover too.
