I used a whole chicken, no sugar in brine, marinated 2 hours, grilled it. Might have been that I used a young, organic bird, but best chicken I have ever had!

I doubled everything but mushrooms. No basil at all, used only 4 T. butter total and allot of chicken broth, light cream cheese, and it was still awfully rich. Hubby liked, but since I cook and decide dinners, I won't make it again.

I spent $5.50 for ground lamb and honestly I think beef would be better. I did not pre-cook meat, made it like it says. Good but not "Wow"

Chili Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2005
I'd leave out the celery(it added nothing) and add even more cheese. It was really good and both my kids and hubby liked it! I used fresh garden tomaotes, which I feel added to the flavor. Even better days later as a leftover.
