Love Love Love it! just twicked it a little. Increased butter to 1/2 cup and used 1 cup bread crumbs and 1 cup real grated parmesan. served with steamed veggies

Cornmeal Mush

The 1-1-2 plan is the best I have found. I just want to warn you to be careful of the pops, they can burn you, but I have a solution. Wear 2 oven mitts to stir. Sounds funny but it works!

Slow Cooker Cassoulet

I tweaked this. Used picked rotisserie chicken and bulk chicken sausage and chicken broth instead of wine. Added chicken about an hour before done and cooked till thickened.

These are sooooo, good you can't get enough of them you want to make them for everyone. I have made them 3 times in the last month. The only change I made was to use more lemon slices and I added 1/4 cup water

Slow Cooker Apple-Scented Venison Roast

This was good, double the beef broth, Cover and I mean cover with apples and onions. I made it with double the broth and I made it with 1 can broth and 2 cups apple juice both ways are really good. If it was dry for you it could be one of two reasons, not enough broth or Deer was too old. The older you get the tougher you are. LOL

loved this recipe, but tweeked it a bit. used skirt steak, used less chilis, I am allergic to coconut so used 1/2n1/2 with coconut flavoring and added the rice to the dish.

My husband and I loved this. The sauce didn't seem like enough but once it starts to bake it smooths out and is very tasty. The only change I made was hot Paprika, and all cheddar.

Scalloped Tomatoes

I have been making this for years. My 2 year old grandaughter can't get enough of them. We have to remove them from the table or they are all she will eat. I use part of the butter to dab on top.

Amish Slaw

The only change to the recipe was,I used Dole Slaw mix instead of the head of cabbage. My Neighbors went nuts over this. It is good on fish sandwiches.
