About this Cook
I am a grandmother of 7 girls and 2 grandsons. I have 3 grown children. I collect Cookbooks and love cooking. I don't bake much. I have 3 cats and I love them like they were Human. I also love to share recipes.
My favorite things to cook
Ethnic Recipes and Vegetarian ones. Family ones that were handed down too.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Christmas Morning I would set the Table and put candles out and we would have Pancakes. One of the kids would choose the flavor it didn't matter what kind. We all had to sit and eat together before Presents.
My cooking triumphs
I just won 3 Cooking contests. One recipe was a Pie, who knew.
My cooking tragedies
My Baking. Oh,I do ok but cook better than bake.

Slow Cooker Cassoulet
I tweaked this. Used picked rotisserie chicken and bulk chicken sausage and chicken broth instead of wine. Added chicken about an hour before done and cooked till thickened.
