Freezer Caramel Drizzle Pie

Reviewed: May 31, 2009
I wish I could give this more than five stars too. I made my own graham cracker crust and put one in a spring form pan and one in a pie plate. I also used fat free cream cheese and fat free cool whip and came out just great.

Crispy Orange Beef

This is so good, my whole family loved it. I made double the sauce as some other reviewer said and it was a very good suggestion.

Glazed Pork Chop

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2007
This was much better than I thought it would be. We did make a couple of changes though. We did not butterfly the pork chops because we used some that were bone-in and some that were pretty thin. We browned them before baking for nice color. We doubled the sauce and did not put water in the pan before baking, it does not need it. Also just mix the lemon juice into the glaze instead of sprinkling it over the glaze. Very good.

Ice Cream Snowball Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2007
This was so yummy and easy. I made it for a dessert for a family party. I am always looking for yummy and different desserts that are gluten free for my mother-in-law who has celiacs disease. It got rave reviews from everyone. We used banana ice cream, death by chocolate ice cream and cherry vanilla ice cream. So good!

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2007
This is so good, I made it a couple weeks ago and I have craved it ever since. The only thing I did different was to add a teaspoon of coconut extract for a little extra coconut flavor, which I love.

Curried Zucchini Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2007
I really liked this recipe, although I did add a few things. I added a few garlic cloves crushed because they go so well with onions and curry. I also added six or seven garden fresh tomatoes because they are as abundant in my garden as the zucchini. Before I pureed the soup I drained a little of the liquid off because I like a thicker soup. It turned out perfect and delicious. I considered putting sour cream in it for a creamier soup, but it doesn't need it.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2007
I loved everything about this recipe. I made it as is except I used pecan halves instead of almonds. My husbands stepmom loved it too. She said she gets tired of salads and said it was nice to have something new and refreshing. She wants the recipe for the dressing.

No Sugar Apple Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2006
I didn't want to cook my apples twice because I like my apples very chunky, so I thickened the entire can of apple juice with the cornstarch and stirred in it cinnamon. I put the apples in the crust and just glopped the apple concentrate mixture on top and then covered it with the top crust. I baked it for 1 hour at 350 and it turned out wonderful. So if you don't want mushy apples, that is a good way to do it.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2006
This stuffing is just what it says, awesome! I did add about 1/2 tsp extra sage and a dash more thyme. I also doubled the broth as I like a more moist stuffing, plus I baked it a casserole dish and didn't want it to dry out. I used Jimmy Dean Maple flavored sausage. My Dad says it's our new Thanksgiving stuffing.

This recipe was so yummy, I made it with a little more than double the vinegar, and double the lime. It was so good and easy to make.

Pumpkin Black Bean Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2006
This was excellent! The pumpkin is very subtle, but good. I added cider vinegar because I didn't have sherry vinegar and it was very good. I ate for lunch for two days in row after and it is very good as leftovers. Great for my low calorie high fiber diet.

Pumpkin Seeds with Cinnamon and Salt

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2006
I gave this recipe 5 stars because it was a great idea to build upon to your own tastes. I personally was not crazy about the original recipe. I took into account what some other review had said about adding extra cinnamon, so I had done that. I wanted to add sugar, but was concerned about them sticking together as on review said, so I sprinkled about 1/2 cup of sugar on them immediately after coming out of the oven and stirred quickly until cooled. Perfect! Sweet and cinnamon seeds. I also wouldn't do without the salt, but the original flavor was not for me.

Taco Pumpkin Seeds

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2006
Very good recipe, it was just what I was looking for. I had about 4 cups of seeds and used only 2 tsp of oil. When I added the seasonings I kind of just dumped them until it looked like enough to give them a good kick. I always boil my seeds for 10 minutes before I season and roast them. It makes them very tender so you can eat the entire shell. Yum!

Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2006
This is awesome! My husband and my kids loved this recipe, even our picky neighbor girl who ate with us had seconds. I used 3 to 4 oz. of Texas Pete brand hot sauce and it was spicy, but wonderful in tortillas with seasoned black beans, sour cream, cheese, lettuce and D's famous salsa from this site. Thanks for sharing!
