Bratwurst Stew

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
This was an easy, tasty stew. I did substitute potatoes for the cabbage, due to family's preference, and added 1 can of northern beans and 1 can of kidney beans.

Instant Pistachio Salad

Very good, easy salad to make. I made this to go along with our St. Patrick's Day supper. I used light whipped topping, and it tasted great!

This was a good recipe. I added shrimp, green onions, and water chestnuts to ours. I also made the rice ahead and chilled overnight.

Pork Chops Deluxe

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2010
Delicious! I also seasoned the chops before browning and added some tomato juice because my can of tomatoes didn't have much juice in them, and served with brown rice.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2010
I made this a one-dish supper by adding some peas and onions to it, and black pepper to taste. I also lightened it up a tad by using heart healthy soup and light sour cream. It was very good and filling. Everyone enjoyed it! Unfortunately, I forgot to photograph it before it all disappeared. Thanks for a great recipe - I will make it again!

Shrimp and Crab Bisque

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
This was such a rich and delicious meal. I served this on Christmas Eve with homemade wheat dinner rolls. I ended up having to quadruple the recipe, because it didn't seem like it was going to be enough, but in the end I did have some leftover. Also, as suggested by other reviewers, I did add some extra seasoning (Old Bay and red pepper flakes, etc.). Great recipe!

Crustless Bacon and Cheese Quiche

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
My family isn't the typical breakfast food for supper kind, but everyone really liked this, and said I should put it in the rotation. I like how versatile it is in terms of being able to add the meats and vegetables that suit those you're serving it to. I should add that I broiled this dish for a few minutes at the end of the baking time to melt/brown up the cheese on top. Thanks for a quick, easy, delicious recipe!

Corn Dog Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2009
I'm not a big corn dog fan, but the rest of my family really liked these for lunch yesterday. I actually made them with the Golden Sweet Cornbread recipe from this site, instead of the prepackaged mix. Thanks for the recipe - my family can't wait for me to make it again!

Individual Baked Eggs

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2009
My kids just loved these. I can't wait to make and freeze some as other reviewers suggested. I didn't add the butter/bacon grease, as the bacon was greasy enough that after loosening the cheese they came right out.

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
This is a delicious breakfast bread. My house smelled amazing while it was baking. I also dusted the pan with flour and cinnamon and only reserved 1/2 packet of oatmeal for the top, as other reviewers suggested. My kids want me to make this often. Thank you for a great recipe!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
These are wonderful cookies! Just as the recipe states; soft ginger cookies! I did try putting chocolate stars on one pan, and they didn't hold up very well, so I skipped the chocolate on the rest. Still absolutely delicious! Thanks for a great recipe.

Herbed Beef Tenderloin

This was a simple, delicious way to prepare the tenderloin. I added more garlic, as that is our preference. It went perfectly served with the Cheesy Ranch Potato Bake found on this site also. Thanks for posting!

I made this as written, except I cut the butter in half. These potatoes were delicious! Great flavor with the ranch and cheese. No leftovers. I will be making these again very soon.

Cookies & Cream Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
This is a creamy, sweet treat that everyone loved. However, the pieces ended up fairly tall in the pan I used, so next time I may try using a larger pan, or possibly cutting back the recipe a little.

Chocolate Pretzel Rings

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2009
I love how versatile this little treat is. I made 293 of them today and froze them for Christmas. I used Cookies & Cream, Cherry Cordial, Dk. Chocolate Raspberry flavored Kisses, Hugs, Dove Peppermint Bark Promises, Chocolate Covered Caramels, and topped each with either an M&M or a candy coated Jr. Mint, depending on the flavor of the Kiss/Hug.
