Festive Bean Spread

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2007
I love this recipe. It is the best I have ever had. I change the toppings a little. I use mexican cheese and top with green onions and chopped black olives. It comes out great everytime. Everytime we go to a party I am required to bring this. Thanks for the awesome recipe. Update** I also add guacamole to this and I mix mayo and sour cream together with some southwest seasoning and put that on here. It is sooo good. This is now my signature dip!!

World's Best Pasta Sauce!

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2008
This sauce is great. I make it all the time now instead of buying it in the jar. I cook the meat, garlic, and onion (I used fresh onion instead of minced)and then I add it to the rest of the ingredients in the slow cooker. Set it on low and let it cook all day. I did change a couple of things though just for personal preference. Instead of the crused tomatoes, I add a can of Italian Style chopped tomatoes. I like the chunks of tomatoes and the seasonings in the tomatoes are great. I also use the bulk sweet italian sausage instead of the links. This is the greatest sauce I have ever made. Thanks for a great recipe.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2008
I have made this a couple of times and it is the best I have ever made. I love it. I made it a few nights ago for my 17 year old stepson and his three friends, there was nothing left. They at the whole pan. The sauce is excellent. I always have extra sauce left over that I can freeze and use for spagetti later on. Thanks again for a wonderful recipe.

Ultimate Corn Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2008
This is the best corn bread I have ever had. My husband said the same thing. The only problem is it is very crumbly. But it tastes great. It is so moist. Also, I had to put it into a 9x13 pan because I tried the 9inch square pan and it leaked all over the side into my oven. The 9x13 worked better. Great recipe!! This is a keeper. My husband and I are going to try and make pancakes out of this batter. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!!!!!!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2008
I made this for our Super Bowl party and everyone loved it. I put the leftover in the fridge and took it to work the next day. I heated it back up in the microwave before serving and everyone thought it was wonderful. Thanks for a great dip recipe.

Zesty Salsa

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2008
I liked this but it wasn't the best salsa. It was great for a quick fix. I would suggest adding a finely chopped jalapeno for a little more kick. Also add some lime juice. I think that might have been what was missing when I made it. It is good with the lime flavored tortilla chips. My husband and his brother liked.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2008
I have made this recipe twice using Corrine's suggestions. I loved it. I like the taste of the red wine in the stew. I think I may try to make it with the original recipe next time since that way gets awesome reviews also. I love this stew with the ultimate cornbread recipe also on this site.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
This is one of the best roll recipes I've tried. I have made this before but I made it again last night and the dough perfect. I put into a 11x7 greased pan and they rose wonderfully. I would rate it higher if I could.

Easy Steak Sandwich

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
Love this recipe. The first time I made this with a Sirloin Steak I found on sale. I cut it really thin and then fried it up & then fried up the onion, mushroom and green pepper. Cut open a loaf of Italian Bread and toasted it. Then topped it with steak and veggies and put cheese on top. Put back in oven on broil for a minute to melt the cheese. Added steak sauce to my portion and it was soooo delicious.

Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
I have made this a few times and every time I do it has came out perfect. My husband is not a big pork eater because usually it is so dry. But with this recipe it is juicy. We have made it in the oven and on the grill in the summertime and it has came out great each way. Thanks for a great recipe.

I have made this a couple of times now. The first time I made it I followed the recipe and it was perfect. The second time I made it without the green pepper because I didn't have any. It was good either way. Thanks for a great recipe

Banana Cake II

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
Kind of reminded me of banana bread. Not so cakey. I might try cake flour next time. The flavor was great though. I used cream chesse frosting with it. I think next time it will be good with a vanilla frosting or glaze. Thanks for a great recipe.

These were great. I cut back on the oil by 1/4 cup. But otherwise I followed the recipe exact. My stepson and his girlfriend couldn't get enough of these when I made them.

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
This is the most juicy chicken I have ever made in the oven. I have made this several times already and it is the only recipe I use for roasted chicken now. I tried to make it once with onion in the inside because I didn't have any celery and it wasn't good. From my experience, make sure to just use celery and don't substitute. Thanks for a teriffic recipe. This is 5+++ stars for me.

Chicken Stew with Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
I used chicken breasts and cooked them until done and then added the vegetables and seasonings and simmered it for a couple hours. Then I added a little evaporated milk and thickened with corn starch. Then I made the dumplings following the recipe. My husband loved this. Even my picky daughter liked it. I will be making this again. Thanks for a great recipe.
