Mrs. Sigg's Fresh Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2008
This pie was excellent! I made it the 2 days ago and yesterday there was nothing left, making 2 more today. And it was quite simple too, the hardest part is cutting open the pumpkin. My pumpkin was stringy and my batter was so thin but it baked up beautifully. I used my own crust recipe. After mashing my pumpkin I threw it in the food processor and just mixed everything up in there. And I baked my pie just a couple minutes longer than suggested and then turned the oven off and let the pie sit in there until set.

Best Ever Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2007
These were excellent! Everyone loved them (even me and I don't like poppers)I used alot more bacon than said but besides that they were perfect...I put them in my home fryer and they came out just perfect. It's a little time consuming but well worth it for the end result. I can't wait until we get more jalapenos out of the garden so I can make more!

Honey Garlic BBQ Sauce II

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2006
This was excellent, sweet and spicy - a little too spicy for my liking but everyone else loved it. I used homemade hot sauce (jalepeno hot sauce recipe from this site) and I used my own homemade ketchup. Will definitely make again but next time I might cut the hot sauce in half, or use not so hot hot sauce.

Roast Beef with Coffee

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2006
It was lacking in flavor and very dry. Maybe I just didn't have a good piece of meat, I used a round roast. The only thing that saved it was the gravy/sauce, which could of had more flavor. I won't make again.

Chewy Granola Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2006
I used 2 1/2 cups oats and 2 cups of rice crispies instead of the 4 cups of oats, and an 8 oz jar of honey instead of 1/2 cup. I would advise cutting the chocolate chips at least in half. I used about 1 1/2 cups and it was too chocolately. They were a little crumbly, so I put them in the fridge and they were excellent.
