Hot Dogs 'n' Rice

Not a bad recipe WITH some doctoring up, , as it was getting close to being done I test-tasted it and it seemed pretty bland so what I did was I transferred it to a baking dish and placed cheese on top and baked it till the cheese was melted. It was much better then. If I was to make it again I would probably add some worshtershire sauce and maybe some different seasonings also.

Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter Shake

I'm 7 months pregnant and I LOVE THIS!! I make it in the morning as my breakfast. Only I don't measure anything. I use a couple of packets of french vanilla instant breakfast mix. I freeze my bananas and i use probably 3 of them. I usually start out with a cup of milk and then just add enough so it mixes well. Then i add ice cubes. I use a heaping tablespoon of peanut butter. I'M NOT KIDDING IT TASTES JUST LIKE A MILKSHAKE. YUM!! Oh, and mine makes quite a bit so my husband takes some while he's on his way to work. He loves it also.

Ham, Potato and Broccoli Casserole

I make this all the time however i just gave it 4 stars because i change it just a bit. I use frozen steak fries and cream of broccoli soup, i add a little bit more ham and instead of parmesan cheese at the last 15 minutes of cooking i uncover and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on it. Also, i thaw the broccoli before i layer it on. I also usually have to cook it for an hour or so. My family LOVES this.

Veggie Pizza

Really good. I didn't use the garlic salt and dill weed. Just used the package of ranch dressing and tweeked the vegetables to my liking. Used broccoli,cauliflower, green pepper, carrots and black olives and sprinkled shredded chedder cheese on it. Everyone loved it and no leftovers that went to waste!!

Martha's Vegetable Beef Soup

THIS WAS THE BEST!!!! I added garlic to the hamburger and used beef broth. I doubled the recipe. Good thing I did so there'll be leftovers. yum. I never made soup before and this tasted way better then canned stuff.

Spicy Melted Cheese Dip

I tweeked it to our tastes. I used all ground beef and used 2 cans stewed tomatoes and 2 cans chopped chilies. I also put it in the crockpot. Now that I think about it, I changed it quite a bit. But it is very very good, especially with "Scoops".

Rich Butterscotch Bars

I have been making these for years. I'm famous for these!!!! My family expects these EVERY christmas. I'm not even sure where i got the recipe from. I would like to make a note though to anyone that makes them...line the pan with quick release reynolds wrap. They can be a bit difficult to remove. I've been making these for years and they are awesome. I don't use nuts though.

Apple Strudel Muffins

I made these with 1/2 white sugar and 1/2 brown sugar. Also added more apple and kept them in chunks. Added cinnamon to the batter too. Very good.

Hot Vanilla

Pumpkin Pie Bread

It's awesome. I also did 1/2 brown and white sugar, added walnuts and a splash of vanilla. Also used 8x4 inch loaf pans and got four loafs out of it. Great bread.

Beef Tips and Noodles

It's bow season right now and my husband got his buck so I decided to use venison in this. My mom and him both LOVED IT. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes venison.

Texas Ranch Potato Salad

This was very very good. However, next time I will not use as many potatoes. I also took others advice and used 1 cup of sour cream and 1 cup mayo. I shared the recipe with a co-worker and she said her husband only requests this potato salad now.
