About this Cook
I've been married for 21 years to the greatest man in the world. God placed us together while we were in college and He blessed us with 2 beautiful children, a daughter, age 17 and a son, age 9. I come from a long line of good cooks. My mother, aunts, grandmother and mother-in-law have all been great inspirations.
My favorite things to cook
Casseroles, Speciality Salads, Meats and Vegetables.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My extended family ALWAYS shares a full Southern Christmas meal that is not complete without at least 5 or 6 different vegetable casseroles. We also cannot enter the New Year without the traditional New Year's fare of Blackeyed Peas, Cabbage, Sweet Potatoes and Pork Roast.

Peach Ice Cream
BEST homemade ice cream EVER!!! Being from the South, I have tasted numerous homemade ice creams. This is the creamiest, most flavorful recipe I have ever come across. The no-cook recipe is so easy to "whip up" and makes a generous batch. If you have fresh peaches on hand (or even if you must make a trip to the farmer's market), this recipe is a "must try"!
