About this Cook
Hi my name is Kitty. I'm 24 and love to cook. I learned how from summers at my Aunt's house and by helping out my Momma. I have a daughter named Zoe and she's the bees-knees! She enjoys mixing, cracking eggs and pushing the buttons on the blender. We cook for my long term boyfriend Thien and are lucky that he is not a picky eater. So we are never limited to what kinds of foods to try.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook breakfast foods, curries, meatloaf, sloppy joes, fried rice, and meat free classics. I am also a huuuge baker. I bake at least twice a week. The items I bake the most are sandwich breads, buns, soft pretzels, cookies and cake.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Onions and bell peppers go in just about every thing we cook :P
My cooking triumphs
2011 I got to make a feast for our first apartment's thanksgiving. Both our families attended
My cooking tragedies
I still can't get that "window pane" stage through hand kneading. I am dreaming of the day i get a kitchen-aid stand mixer.
