I love to cook for my family, my home is the gathering place for Thanksgiving, everything is prepared in my kitchen, we all love it that way :) I love baking! From breads to cakes, from pies to rolls, it's great! Making Christmas cookies with my kids, my mom did it with me, it's something that I hope that my children carry on with my grandkids, if they don't I will! :D My first turkey, I was soooooooo nervous LOL, but ohhhhhh it was good, thanks to the helpful hints I got on here :D I was putting a pumpkin pie into the oven, my nephew came flying around the corner into the kitchen when I had the oven open, not wanting to burn him, I had to act fast! Well I ended up burning myself, and dumping the pie into the bottom of the oven :( oh what a mess to clean :))
