Honey-Glazed Pork Chops
I did not expect this to be as good as it was. I added a little worshchestshire sauce and a few red pepper flakes. Was very good, s&p balance out the sweetness nicely.

Rick's Special Buttercream Frosting
I'm giving this 4 stars just cus i changed it. But it is great. I did change this a bit like other reviewers, but i think it was perfect. i did 1 cup butter 1 cup crisco and i only used 6 cups of sugar (i don't like frosting to be too sweet) it held up perfectly and tasted just right. i think the whipping cream is the special trick here. i used it to make a john deere tractor cake ( pic #185, there are a few JD cakes in the photos for this recipe) for my son's 5th birthday the other day, the frosting was very nice to work with, not too sticky, was fairly easy to get smooth (it's best btw to start with a lot of icing on the cake and then scrape off what you don't need and get it smooth) this recipe does make a lot, but since i used so much between all the layers and scraped a lot off i did run out, so if you are doing something tricky like a tractor cake make extra. if you are looking at my picture the white icing on the cake itself is just the betty crocker from the can, and also the icing on the front of the tires, as you can see, canned frosting does not hold up, it slowly sags and falls. later when i pulled the cake out for the party ( i always freeze them, they taste better) the canned icing started to melt and the black bled into the other colors, Ricks Special Buttercream however did not, even in 80+ it held up well, and it also doesn't seem to get hard and crusty. it just is great.

Lollipop Cookie Valentines
I give this recipe 5 stars for looks, but 2 stars for taste, i followed this recipe to a T, but alas... I made these for my son's preschool class valentines party, they looked awesome and held together great (i thought for sure they'd fall right off the stick) the kids ate them and enjoyed them. My husband and i love cookies, but not these. I think the recipe calls for to much cocoa, and not enough sugar. The cookies tasted like cocoa powder. They were really hard too.
