Lemon Glazed Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2008
Loved this cake! I only had lime jello on hand and it tasted great. I added extra zest and juice to the glaze (I love tangy citrus) and first poked some holes in the bottom of my bundt cake and poured over, then flipped the cake over and poured the rest on top-super yummy!

Baked Pork Chops II

These came out very moist, which is always a plus for pork chops! I will add more garlic next time when cooking the onion.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
These were wonderful! We had planned on grilling but the weather did not agree with that plan so I popped them in the oven at 450 for 30 minutes, turning them over half way through. I added broccoli to the marinade mixture also and it tasted fantastic!

Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2008
These are thick dense peanut butter cookies that are delish! Huge points in my family that has allergies to wheat and milk too! I rolled dough into balls, used fork to compress, baked for 8 min. in convection oven. So excited to have these in my recipe box!

Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
I prepped these by boiling and allowed two of my sons to finish the meal while I went off to a women's retreat. I came home to hear of "how awesome" these ribs are, I will have to try them now! I boiled the ribs with seasonings and onion for 45 minutes.

French Toast Stars

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
This is a wonderful french toast recipe! Because of on hand items I substituted milk for cream and did not cut into any shape. Used texas toast and kamut cinn. raisin bread and the whole family was more than happy!

Bierocks (German Meat Turnovers)

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2008
We really enjoyed these overall. DH didn't like, thought they were bland, but the rest of the crew raved. I made my own dough in the bread maker and rolled out. Will make again and serve for lunch.

My family loved this. I gave it 4*'s because I did add a lot of seasonings which turned it into a 5*! I added garlic to the butter, paprika, onion powder, pepper, & parsly to the potato flake mixture. This came out crispy and moist. Loved that it is dairy & wheat free and delicious!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2008
These are fantastic! They are rich, thick and very chocolaty! They are easy to make, and similiar to Ghiradelli's brownie mix. One of our boys gave it a 4* because he thinks they need bigger chocolate chunks, easy to remedy:)

Sweet and Sour Chicken III

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2008
This was a very good meal. I marinated the chicken in soy sauce and garlic before cooking. I also added pineapple juice with the soy sauce and cornstarch, made for a great flavor.

Mall Pretzels

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2008
I made these twice, once following the recipe exactly and I would give it a 4 * for the recipe...I then made them and boiled the pretzels in water and baking soda before baking for 30 seconds. Wow! What a difference! Nice crust on the outside and chewy middle. Without boiling they came out yummy, but more like pizza bread. Boiled they came out like pretzels, fantastic! Thank you for the recipe!

I doubled the marinade and added some "stir fry" sauce to the vegetables and the tase ended up being awesome! I used fresh garlic in the marinade and snow peas instead of celery also. Far surpassed any other stir fry I have made!

We really enjoyed these potatoes, I would of given them 5 *'s but I think they need to be cooked longer. I would start with the given time and cook until potatoes look perfect to you!

These were wonderful, and gluten-free and dairy-free! I didn't have any pork on hand so I just used burger and made a brown au jus gravy for the top (along with mashed potatoes YUM!)

I only gave it a 3 star because I had to make numerous modifications to make it non-blah. But it is a great springboard recipe.
