Yum Yum! So easy and fast. I drizzled a lemon glaze over the tops of some and rolled others in the powdered sugar.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
The recipe was very easy and good which gives it a 5 * for me! I am a sucker for smoked meat so I will add liquid smoke next time. We used Sweet Baby Ray's, very tender!

Round Steak Sauerbraten

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
The meat was super tender, I used as many fresh items as I had on hand rather than dried, but did not change any ingredient. I used Tofutti dairy free sour cream to finish it off with. I served with rice to make it gluten free also!

Donna's Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2009
Not sure what happened, followed the directions to a "T" and the cake fell in the middle. The only thing different is I cooked it in a convection oven.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2009
This cake was very good and very moist! Make sure to spray cake pans very well to keep the cake from sticking! Went great with buttercream frosting.

Super Fajita Marinade

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2009
This is a good marinade, but next time I will add more spice for my family. The meat like it was went great the next day chopped up into a bean pot too! Thank you for this easy recipe.

Sylvia's Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
Fantastic! I cooked 3X the amount and cooked at 325 for 2 hours after boiling for 45 minutes. I added liquid smoke 1 TBLS. instead of A-1 brushed right onto the ribs. These were eaten up...we kept a box of wipies on the table to keep our fingers clean!

Tilapia Soft Tacos with Chipotle Cream

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2009
These are fantastic!!! I did not follow "make sure to de-seed the peppers" part and they ended up super hot, so make sure to follow that direction!! Outside of my mistake these were easy to make and delicious. My family loves spicy so I will use the correct amount of chipotle, just w/out seeds next time! The one request of my family was to cut the fish in strips instead of one piece of fish, I'll try that next time. Can't wait to make again!

I give this recipe 4 stars to average out the family concensus, I would give it 5 stars and everyone else probably a 3. Will change up the veggies to whet appetites more next time. Thanks for the springboard recipe!

Mushroom Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2009
Everyone raved over these, not one was left. I made my own dairy free cream of mushroom and just left out the title for my mushroom fearing children :)! Will make again and again.

Texas-Style Baked Beans

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2009
For our palate they were a little sweet and not quite spicy enough. We will make them again with a tweak or two for sure. I used half the meat called for and thought it was the perfect amount for a side dish, or could leave it out and not miss for a side too.

Quick and Easy Green Chile Chicken Enchilada Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2009
The whole family loved this. Like others I used the large can of enchilada sauce and thought it was perfect. I made this dairy free by using Tofutti Sour Cream and soy cheeses and used corn tortillas to make it gluten free and it tasted great for the whole family. One dish wonders in our house are rare and I love it when I find a recipe that please everyones palate and meets everyones dietary needs.

Cheddar Bacon Hamburgers

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2009
These were wonderful! I quadrupled the recipe to feed 5 teen boys, myself and husband, we just finished and they are all gone! The only adjustments I made were to put the cheese on top, used fresh garlic and added a little onion to the meat. Will put this recipe in rotation this summer, thank you!

Bavarian Style Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
These were really good. I paired them up with potato pancakes and homemade applesauce for "German Week" in our home. We made them twice and we liked them a little less sweet than the recipe called for, but it is all a preference. The house smelled really good while they were in the crockpot also!

My family loved this, I just left out the "onion" word in the recipe title for them :) I used a gluten free flour mix to make crust and to thicken gravy for it, wonderful!

I love carnitas, I always order them when we go out. These were on par with the restaurants! The only thing item I didn't add was the cinnamon.
