Vegetarian Korma

The whole family liked it, even the kids. Only changes I made were to add a bit more curry, coconut milk instead of heavy cream, and a pinch of brown sugar. I added the curry in with the onions. Next time will use Yukon golds to cut cooking time (cooked quite awhile). Served over rice, going to get naan next time. Will definitely make this again!

Chewiest Brownies

These came out very good, chewy and moist, just right for a thin fudge-like brownie! I only gave it 4 stars because I did lower the amount of cocoa powder to 3/4 C and the sugar to 1 1/2 C. I mixed it in one bowl just fine. It is very thick to spread, but it worked out okay. I baked it in a glass pyrex 9X13 dish lined with aluminum foil at 300 for 45 minutes.

French Breakfast Puffs

These were excellent. Substituted butter for shortening and margarine. Did regular size muffins, but I agree that mini would be better (I was too impatient for small batches).

Cream Puffs

I added vanilla & a tbsp of sugar to the puff batter as someone else suggested and baked them in mini muffin tins. I also made sure the batter was elastic in texture. Poking them with a toothpick after 20 minutes in the oven prevented collapse. These turned out excellent! The texture of the puffs is perfect.

Buttercream Icing

I always use this recipe for cakes and cupcakes. I replace the shortening with butter and it has always turned out wonderful.

Bacon for the Family or a Crowd

Way better tasting than using the microwave. The only way we do bacon. Turkey bacon, pig bacon, all of it. Best way.
