My Kid's Favorite Pork Chops
I made this for my hubby tonight as he was craving pork chops. He wanted something with BBQ sauce as his mother used to make him BBQ pork chops as a child, so I found this recipe and decided to give it a try. I admit that I made a few changes based on the ingredients I had on hand and my hubby's tastes. I marinated the pork chop in molasses and salt for about 2-4 hours prior to cooking. Then I seasoned with pepper and garlic powder before browning. I then used whiskey instead of beer as my hubby LOVES whiskey. I also added a bit of Worcestershire with the BBQ sauce and a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar since the husband prefers a more sweet sauce. My chops were pretty thin so I did not simmer them for as long as suggested, but they turned out GREAT. The hubby loved the sauce and the chop was super tender. Will definitely make again as I know that I will soon get a request from the husband. Thanks for the recipe.

Pork Chops a la Slow Cooker
Brag worthy, succulent, amazing! This one is a keeper. I made this for my husband's work, as I cater lunch to them once a week. They were MORE than pleased. Some said it was the best Pork Chops they had EVER had! I changed the recipe a bit, simply due to the fact that I did not have all of the necessary ingredients. But, for the most part followed the recipe. I dredged the pork chops in seasoned flour (pepper, paprika, salt, garlic) then I browned them in olive oil and placed them in a greased (with pam) crock pot. Then I added 1 can of chicken with rice soup and 1 can of cream of mushroom soup (mixed with pepper and garlic). I cooked on low 8 hrs. I served the pork chops over wild rice and carrots. I topped the pork and rice with the "gravy" from the soup mixture in the crock pot. My husbands co-workers LOVED the gravy and stated they MUST have this meal again soon. Awesome recipe, and easy too! Will def. make again SOON! Thanks!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff
I was worried about the cream cheese in this recipe as my husband has never been fond of it...but I gave the recipe a try nonetheless. I followed as directed at first (only adding a little white wine to taste) then discovered half way through that it seemed to be missing something in the flavor department. I then added some garlic, parsely, and basil to the mix. This seemed to help out a great deal as far as the favor was concerned. My husband enjoyed the recipe and stated that it did have a good flavor but it was certiainly not one of his favorites. The leftovers had a very unattractive chunky look as well...I am not sure if I will try this one again.
