Lap Salad

Reviewed: May 25, 2006
This was great! I did make it without the chicken, but only because we were having a steak dinner. It would be perfect with the chicken too though. I also added sesame oil since I did not have the sesame seeds and it did not hurt a think. So good. Thank you.

Slow Cooker Lentil and Ham Soup

Reviewed: May 25, 2006
Mmmmmmm so good. My whole family gobbled it up. I did increase the chicken broth, but only because I had on big can of it (48 oz I think). It turned out perfect. It even reheated well the next day.

Snickerdoodles II

Reviewed: May 25, 2006
Perfect! I had tried several other snickerdoodle recipes trying to get it right because I love these, but they were always too flat and not right. I found this recipe and my husband goes on and on about how good they are. I have made them a couple of times and always used the recipe just as it is written. Thank you.

Chocolate Marshmallow Puffs

Reviewed: May 25, 2006
Really good! I cut the recipe from 30 servings down to 20 servings, but still used 2 full eggs. This made the dough perfect. They did keep well in a rubbermaid container. The kids loved the process of making these.

I did add a little more broccoli, but this is the perfect recipe that I have been looking for. Just like my Aunt makes.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: May 25, 2006
Wonderful! I only did one chicken though and so I should have reduced the cooking time just a little so it was a tiny bit dry. But it was still sooooo good. I will be doing two next time.

Cashew Avocado Chicken Salad

Reviewed: May 25, 2006
Good! I ended up crumbling the bacon and shredding the cheese into the chicken mixture. It was easier to serve with kids that way. I also served it on whole wheat pita bread and that worked well.

Easy Corn Chowder I

Reviewed: May 25, 2006
This is so good! I doubled the recipe hoping for left overs, but my kids ate it all. I made one small change even though the recipe is great as is. Instead of adding two cans of cream-style corn when I doubled the recipe I only used one can then I threw in two cups of frozen mixed vegtables just because I wanted some greens.

Sophie's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: May 25, 2006
Really good! I have actually started to use this recipe as a bread base for most sweet breads that I like. Instead of zucchini, I put 3 med apples, or blueberries, or even 4 med bananas works really well. I do like to add a couple of tablespoons of milk though, but it is not neccessary.
