I made this for my mom's birthday party and it was a hit! I did change a few things. I fried 4 slices of bacon and after that crisped, I sauteed the onion, celery in the oil and butter. I also added chopped zucchinni to that. I used fresh salmon instead of can. I added a dash of hickory smoke and grated one carrot instead of diced. I'm sure the original recipe was great the way it was, but I like to experiment when cooking and usually change a few things. I will be making this one again!
