Im 22, a jewelry designer and event coordinator. i love cooking, kitchens, kitchen supply and specialty grocery stores. I am always looking for simple but unique foods that I can make for me and my friends. I love having dinner parties, and I am interested in starting a supper club.
My favorite things to cook
I like to bake since evryone loves a good dessert. I just made my first ham the other day and it was a hit. I tend to cook more homestyle as that is what my Grandmother cooks.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Grandma is the real chef in the family. She has always had a knack for making anything taste great even if it is from a box.
My cooking triumphs
I made my fisrt ham theother day using a glaze recipe from Allrecipes! I have also found a wonderful apple pie recipe here that I know I will pass on to my kids when I have them.
My cooking tragedies
I am a terrible bread baker. Even in the bread machine I can mess it up. I would love to know how, so I keep practicing!

Honey Baked Chicken I
OMG! Im sitting down to a sample of this chicken (before I serve it in 30 mins)and I can't believe how delicious it is. I have a knack for making everything taste the same - not this chicken though! I was sick of lemon chicken so this was an awesime and welcome break. I added more garlic, more honey, and a mix of red,black and white peppers, salt, nutmeg, and dry mustard. I also added a tablespoon of dijon to the egg mix. WONDERFUL!!!!

Shrimp Scampi Bake
This was the best! I added a seasoning mix of red and white pepper, red pepper flakes, salt, greek seasoning, dry mustard,and a little lemon zest. I sprinkled it on the shrimp and this took care of any worries that the dish would lack flavor. I thought the dijon was wonderful and I will add a touch more next time. I served the shrimp with fettucine. Thanks so much!

Tangy Honey Glazed Ham
I just made this glaze and it is wonderful! I will use a little less of the ground cloves next time, but that is a personal taste. I have never made a ham before, and I was super excited when it turned out. Adds a beautiful color too! Thanks!
