Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2014
I made a triple batch using the suggested 1/2 c. margarine and 1 c. shortening because I did not have butter on hand. These turned out better than expected! This dough holds it's shape very well, no overly flat or cake-like cookie here. Pull from the oven just as the edges and tops begin to turn golden for a moist chewy cookie, bake a little longer to please those who enjoy a crisp cookie. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Banana Chocolate Chip Dessert

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
After a long and hard day, I chose to try this recipe in spite of my daughters pleas to not make something with banana in it because it looked easy and fast... Well--it was easy, fast, and so yummy, even my daughter can't keep her hands of them! I think I better make more! Thanks for sharing!

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
I followed this recipe and used margarine instead of butter...and it turned out to be a pan of fudge soup...was it the use of margarine?

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
I found this recipe looking for a creamy pie w/o cream cheese, and am grateful to have found it. Have not tasted mine yet but wanted to add an idea I had before I forget..I wonder, what if we omit the pudding and just fold the peanut butter mixture into whipped cream for the filling? Has anyone tried that?

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2007
I scaled this recipe to 98..I had to use shortning instead of margarine or butter, also, I had no vanilla! But I tried anyway - the mixture came out extremely dry and I almost gave up. But first I ended up adding 2 more eggs, about one and a half more shortning, and give or take around half c. more of sugar. Rolled in colored sugar, and crossed my fingers...the results were amazing, I can't belive how good they came out. Soft and a little chewy, not falling apart- just right. In fact this might be my new favorite!
