Awesome stuff! Tastes just like a creamsicle and my entire family loved it.

My Country Style Steak

Really liked this. We had to use more flour to make the gravy, along with more water, but the flavor was excellent.

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2008
Great flavor. Even better the second day because the gravy was thicker. Like others, I prefer not to use the ketchup, so I found a mushroom gravy mix that called for a cup of water which I added to the soup with the worcestershire sauce and flour. Awesome.

Beef and Cornbread Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
Pretty darn good! I used regular salsa instead of picante because that's all we had and even my picky 6-yr old who won't touch anything spicy loved it. Was a nice mix of sweet and tangy with the cornbread and the salsa mix. Everyone cleared their plate and went for seconds. It was very good.

D's Famous Salsa

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2009
This is very similar to my recipe. Instead of the green chiles I use 2 fresh jalapenos, threw in some cayenne, chili powder, and red pepper flakes for spice. The only real problem with this was the cilantro. I'm not a big fan of it anyway, but 3 tbsp is way too much. Every bite was overwhelmingly cilantro. I would suggest 1.5 tbsp max to not drown out the other flavors. Also - if you experiment with ingredients like I do, don't chop the onion too small otherwise with each pulse of the food processor they get smaller and smaller. Overall, an excellent recipe!

Thanksgiving Won Tons

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2009
A little light on flavor. Needed something to dip them in to be a lot more flavorful. Not bad, overall, but I would have to modify this recipe before ever making it again.

Tater Taco Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
Pretty good stuff. Super easy to make. I would definitely suggest following the tater tot baking instructions. I baked it at 450 for 20 minutes and the tots were perfect. I then pulled it out of the oven, put some shredded cheese on top, then put it back in for a few minutes to melt. The kids loved it.

Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
Pretty good, but definitely not the absolutely ultimate potato soup. Mine was a little less flavorful than I wanted. I think with some modifications it would be a good recipe. Not sure why I wasn't "wow"'ed.

Sun-Dried Tomato and Blue Cheese Burgers

Reviewed: May 2, 2011
Made these for a neighborhood cookout and they were absolutely phenomenal! I diced the tomatoes pretty small per other suggestions and the flavors all worked perfect together. Even my son who is a plain cheeseburger kind of guy loved it. Will be making these a lot this summer.

Nice easy dish. Dressing is a little easy on the flavor. Could have used more sesame oil.

Chicken-Parmesan Bundles

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2012
Pretty good. I didn't have any spinach on hand, so I just used the parm/mozz mix and added some oregano for flavor. My family loved it. I also skipped the crackers and just used Italian bread crumbs with parmesan and it turned out delicious.

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2012
OK, I didn't add the tomatoes because it just didn't feel right, and I just went with regular Monterey Jack cheese (not Colby blend) and it was FABULOUS. Rivaled anything I've ever tasted in a good Italian restaurant. Seriously. This one is a keeper!
